Phil was hanging off the edge of the bridge, he was so confused.
'What?! No they have to let go!' He thought to himself. 'Who would want to save me anyways?'
"Let go, man!" Phil spat at his rescuer. The rescuer only tightened his grip on Phils wrist.    "I said let GO!" Phil yelled as if he were being kidnapped. He didn't know what he was feeling! He was scared that he might really fall to his death. He regretted ever jumping and getting himself into this mess. He was angry. Angry at Dan for jumping in the first place. He had deliberately hurt Phil even though he knew how much he cared. He was upset that this person wanted to keep Phil from seeing the love of his life again. But most of all, he felt hopeful that he could break free of this mans torturous clutches to be with his Bear.
"LISTEN HERE!" Phil screeched as he continued to flail. The rescuer had on black jeans and a black hood that shaded his face so that Phil couldn't see it. The mysterious man had one hand around Phils wrist, and one on the rail to keep from falling himself. Phil looked up and noticed the man removing his stable hand from the railing.
"What are you.." Phil started to question, then almost immediately noticed that he was putting both hands around Phils one wrist. He started to pull. He was pretty strong, but not strong enough.
"C'mon, Phil! Help me out here!" A familiar voice yelled, tired obviously, from trying to lift Phil.
'That voice sounds mighty familiar' Phil thought to himself.
"Phil cut it out and give me your other hand!" The familiar voice called again. Phil knew who it was as soon as he spoke! Phil hurriedly pulled his other hand up into the rescuers. Together, they pulled to get Phil back on the base of the bridge. Soon, they accomplished their goal. The rescuer fell to his knees, along with Phil who still held tight to the mans hands. The rescuers hood fell off.
"DAN!!" Phil cried as he flung his arms around Dans neck and begun to cry. Dan hugged Phil back and allowed him to cry into his chest. They had attracted quite the crowd, all of whom watched as every second of the events went on.
"Shhhh. Shh, it's okay, Philly." Dan cooed his sobbing friend. Phil looked up into Dans big, sparkling eyes.
"I thought you were dead!" He whispered in-between sobs.
"I couldn't do that to you, love." Dan replied with a warm smile. His eyes brimmed with tears as he hugged a still sobbing Phil. The crowd awed at this wonderful display of love.
"I love you, Dan" Phil wanted to make sure Dan always knew from now on how much he really loved him.
"I love you too, Phil" Dan replied, taking Phils face in his hands and leaning forward to kiss him. The crowd continued to show their support for Dan and Phils newly-found love for each other. Not so much "newly found", it had always been there. It had just never been displayed in such a manor.
Dan broke their kiss. "I didn't jump. I really was going to, but then I thought of you, Phil. I thought of your bright smile, your sparkling eyes, and your beautiful personality. You're the first thing I think of when I wake up, and the last thing I think about before I fall asleep. I want to be with you forever, whether it's as flat mates, friends, boyfriends, or husbands." With that, Dan got on one knee, never removing his hands from Phils. "Phillip Michael Lester, will you be my boyfriend?" He asked with a smile.
"Yes!!!" Phil started sobbing again, but this time it was a happy sob. "Of course I will, my Bear!"
"I'm so happy to hear that." Dan replied calmly as he stood up to kiss Phil once again. The crowd never left, (would you? That's what I thought), they continued to watch. Some started to cry. The people began to cheer. They watched as Dan and Phil walked home, hand in hand.
"I love you, babe." Dan whispered to Phil.
"I love you too, my cuddly Bear."
