Chpt 2

I throw my back pack on the kitchen table and open the fridge. I grab a left over piece of chicken from last nights dinner.

"What are your doing?" My brother Chase asks me.

"Making chicken, what does it look like?" I respond. He rolls his eyes. Chase is my only sibling and sooo annoying.

I hear the oven beep and get my chicken. As I fix up my plate,my parents walk in.

"Hey guys." They say. Me and Chase both smile.

"Amber we have to talk to you." My mom says pointing to the other room.

"Um, ok?" I question. My heart is beating a mile a second. I swallow nothing but fear and saliva. "What's going on?" I continue.

"Since it's your last spring break in hight school, we want you to enjoy it." My dad starts. I put a confused look on my face. "So." He continues. "We got you three One Direction concert tickets in England!"

I freeze. I can't move. I try to speak but no words come out.

" Amber!?" My mom howls waving her hand in front of my face. I finally realize what's going on. The biggest smile creeps on my face.

"OH MY GOD!" I scream. "THANK YOU SO MUCH!" I jump up and down and give my parents a million hugs.

"Since there are three tickets, you, your dad, and a friend can go. I will watch Chase." My mom smiles. Laura of course is the first person that comes to my mind. My parents and her parents are best friends so I'm sure they will say yes.

I run out the door with the tickets in my hand. I tell Laura the fantastic news and were both flipping out. Her parents say yes and we celebrate by going out to dinner.
