Lewis was 7 at the time and walked down the rainy path with his parents and sister from the animal shelter "Are you sure you saw not one that you liked?" His father asked "No Dad none" the boy sighed, meanwhile a young kitsune sat under a bus stop shivering in a kitten form hoping for a passer by to offer help, "Let's just take the bus home" his sister said putting an arm on his shoulder and Lewis stopped and stared at the kitten before gasping and running at it "Mom, Dad this kitten...it's cold and alone can we take it home?" His Dad sighed looking at the cat's neck and with no collar he nodded the boy picked her up and put her beside his head under his hood and the bus arrived as the family went on.
When they got home to there mansion of a house Lewis took off his coat and ran up into the bedroom and picked up the two pages of homework and set them on a his bed the kitten climbed on to he's hair and looked over at the work seeing x7 home work he snickered and took a pencil "okay...7 times 3 equals what?" He thought to himself the young queen (female cat is called a queen) took the pencil and used her mouth wrote at the top '21' crudely "Wow...that's right" he said and picked her up and snuggled her "I'll call you...Answer" the cat meowed then picked the pencil up again "Would you be freaked out if I talked?" She wrote he smiled "No" he said "I can talk" she said in a child like tone Lewis jumped "Awesome" he said "Please keep it a secret" she said he smiled "Of course".
The two of them grew up together...
