Niall's POV
recap:
"Why didn't you take me back home?" Nikki said, confused.
"One word. Your dad." I replied.
"That's two words!" She laughed.

~~~Niall's POV~~~
Nikki and I talked about a bunch of random topics until she got sleepy again. We were still parked in that field because I didn't really know where we could go. I looked over at Nikki's sleeping body. Her mascara was all smudged and her hair a frizzy mess, least to say, she didn't look her best but I don't think she really cared.
Me, being bored and not wanting to just sit in the field any longer, I started my van. Slowly, I backed out of the field and drove. I didn't know where to go, all I knew is that the direction I was headed in was towards the city. Maybe, when Nikki wakes back up, we can go to the mall or something. It's better than doing nothing at all even if I am almost broke. Hell, if I got any money I would have to turn it into the boss so he would quit running after my ass.

I pulled into the mall parking lot and gently shook Nikki. She stirred slightly, made a weird noise, and fell right back to sleep. I shook her again and she did the same thing. I was about to shake her once more but figured that it wouldn't do any good so I hopped out of my side of the van and ran to Nikki's side. Since Nikki was sleeping against the door, I had the perfect idea to just open the door, but of course, catch her.
I clutched my fingers around the door handle and quickly jerked it open. Nikki flew out. Completely forgetting that I was supposed to catch her, she landed with a 'thud' on the hard concrete. Her eyes flew straight open and her face expression was priceless. I couldn't help myself, I was laughing like a lunatic and grabbing my stomach.
"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK NIALL?" She screamed, standing up and holding her arse in pain.
"MY FUCKING ASS IS GONNA BE BRUISED FOR A WEEK!" She growled at me. I just kept laughing. I couldn't hold it back.
"You couldn't have just shook me awake or yelled my name?" She said, lowering her voice finally.
"I shook you twice, but I never thought to yell your name. I decided it would be more fun this way." I laughed some more. She glared at me and gave me a hard push.
"Sorrrrrrryyyyyy.It was a joke, Nikki." I dragged out.
"A joke on your behalf Niall. Now, as much fun as it is standing in a parking lot yelling at each other, lets change the subject, shall we?" As she said 'shall' she lightly bowed.
I simply laughed at her.
"I was thinking that maybe we could go look around in the mall, waste some time?" I said, making it sound more like a question than a statement.
"Niall, I'm a broke ass bitch." She said, imitating a song. "I can't afford nothing in the mall. Why don't we go to the grocery store and buy a shit load of cheap food, then, we can go sit somewhere and stuff our faces." She suggested.
"Sounds like a plan." I agreed. I walked back over to the driver's side of the van as Nikki hopped in the passenger's side. As I was turning on the van, I noticed a very familiar looking car about 50 yards away.
"Nikki, get in the back seat and lay your head down so no one can see you." I rushed.
"But why? Wh-"
"JUST GET IN THE BACK OF THE DAMN SEAT NIKKI! And hurry!" I cut her off. She did as told.
I floored the gas pedal like they do on spongebob and my van screeched off. Luckily, the familiar car was empty and hopefully no one saw me.
"Niall, I really don't understand why I'm back here." Nikki complained.
"I saw a car."
"Just because you saw a car doesn't mean you just-"
"No," I cut her off again "not just any car... It was my bosses' car Nik. He's after us again."
OHH HAI GUYS I UPDATED AND IM ALREADY WRITING THE NEXT CHAPTERRR! Sorry it was short, but i have homework. next chapter i am trying to make long, anyways This is sorta a cliff hanger... But have no fear, an update is very near!
