The chicken crosses the road! He has no idea why he wants to cross it, he just crosses it. When he gets to the other side, he calls his friends to cross it, too. Half of them make it, half of them don't. He turns to talk to his friend the alligator.
"Hey, Alligator. My friend has writers block. Can you help him?"
"Sure" says the Alligator. "I can help."
"Thank you." says the chicken. "Hes right over... oh..." The chicken realized that the friend he was talking about was out there, in the cold hard ground. He started to cry.
The Alligator held him in a hug. "Im so sorry, Mr. Chicken. I've lost a few friends to our enemy as well." He glared at the road and watched the cars go by.
An alien flew down from heaven. It looked at the Alligator and Chicken, who were still hugging. He pointed at them and yelled, "Racist!" Then he flew away.
The chicken shoved the Alligator away and watched the alien fly away. He looked at the Alligator and yelled, "This is your fault! You made that alien come here and say all those mean things! You made my friends get killed by those metal monsters!"
The Alligator bowed his head in shame. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to happen. I'll leave you alone now." The Alligator slithered away into his Alligator hole and never came back out again.
A rabbit hopped across the road, dodging metal monsters left and right. One metal monster splashed through a mud puddle and the rabbit got soaked in mud. He was so muddy that the Chicken laughed.
So, why did the chicken cross the road?
