A Vissen is a breed of dragon, though seeing as how it was quite a mouthful to pronounce "vissen dragon," many use the common term, vissen.

These dragons can be identified by their "s" shaped markings on both eyelids, accompanied by four blade spines along the tail, and their most favored feature, a pronounced "v" crest, resting right at the beginning of their chest. These crests can continue to grow as they age, being noted to break and regrow, similar to a common deer.Though they can easily be classified as "just another dragon" at first glance, these creatures are notorius for their mannerisms and class type.

These beasts have the mind of a sophisticated cat. Curious, intelligent, easily enraged, colorful vocabulary - they have it all. Albeit innocent at birth, most were raised to be worshippers of more powerful beings. This brought them up to be cold blooded killers, blind to the truth of their actions. Some could escape their grasp, others were less forunate, being slaughtered for their actions.

What is most peculiar about Vissen is that they fall under only one element - fear. Most species hold exceptions for up to three different elements, like the Tangzalian, which can be blessed with either fire, wind, or earth. Stragely, Vissen can only be blessed with fear, aything more would make them a mixbreed.

Elements are divided into two categories, dark and light. Dark and light categories have two different spectrums, Black Magic and White Magic. In each category there are four elements, providing the Asthesia realm with a total of sixteen elements.

White Magic
Light
- Electricity
- Fire
- Earth
- Ice

Dark
- Wind
- Darkness
- Poison
- Fear

Black Magic
Light
- Time
- Hypnosis
- Mineral
- Death

Dark
- Telekinesis
- Voodoo
- Undead
- Hell

The list above files all elements into their appropriate categories. We will touch up on their descriptions later. White magic is the most common, dragons able to be borne into any of their elements. Black Magic is forbidden and looked down upon, only being able to be harnessed by years of learning. This is why they stay hidden, being considered by many to be myths; but when there is light, there is dark. Neither can exist without the other, making them an inseperable pair.

Why dragons cannot be borne to harness Black Magic has yet to be uncovered, assumed to be because it is an unnatural entity amongst their daily lives. If that is true, then how would it exist in the first place? There must be some explanation as to why such miraculous beings cannot blessed with Black Magic, but still have the ability to find and learn it.
