"That's it guys! I'll see you next Thursday for another video!" Alex said, shutting off his camera. It was Wednesday, but since his laptop is old, it takes longer to edit and upload, so he prerecords and uploads it Thursday. It was late, around midnight. Alex hopped off his King size bed and went over to his dresser to pick out clothes for after his shower. He pulled out a pair of joggers and An old tee shirt, along with red plaid boxers and ankle socks. His back ached from being slouched from recording; the steam from the scolding hot shower soothed his pain. After a long shower, he got out, changed, and fluff-dried his hair with a towel. He was tired but, sadly, he had homework to do. He took his notebook and began writing the history vocab words he missed when he was absent a few days ago with the flu. In North Carolina, the flu was spreading rapidly, and it affected kids more than adults. Alex happened to be one of the lucky guys to get it. As he finished the definition for "Iroquois", he gladly closed his notebook. He had a big day tomorrow; the guidance counselor wanted to speak to him. Overthinking about the situation, he drifted off to sleep.
