"Indigo, i'm going now" I looked up from my book and instantly folded the corner of the page before I snapped it shut.
"Mum - be careful out there"
"Of course i'll be careful - i'm always careful" she rolls her eyes while she tries to carry all twelve of her bag's at once. Walking over to her I quickly caught three as they fell and stared at her, "They're bags, it's not like I will fall over-"
She suddenly trips over and I dropped her bags and tried to catch her - but she was already in a heap with her suit cases on top of her.
"... You were saying?" I pulled the bag's off of her, putting them in a neat pile before I grabbed her hands and pulled her up onto her feet.
"I always have felt that you're more of the mother than I am - ever since you were a toddler" she muses while cupping my face and staring into my eyes that hid behind my black rimmed glasses.
"I always have loved your eyes-"
"Mum, you're going to be late. You're plane is going to take off without you-"
"Oh please, my plane won't leave me - it is mine after all" she scoffs and pulls me into a bone crushing hug. I awkwardly wrapped my arm's around her waist as my face is awkwardly pressed into her bosoms - yeah, i'm short.
"Right, now be nice to the baby sitter - no pranks, no video's of him, no live shows - no experiments or dares in the house"
"Yes mum"
"No-"
"No take out, no pirating movies, no blasting music from my speakers, no reckless driving - no jail time, no clubbing, no buying more books, no skinny dipping, no drinking, no sleep overs, no Fox song, no baking and no sugar" I finished.
She nods, satisfied with my answer.
"You can film your You Tube video's in the room set up for it - no where else. Now, you listen to your Baby Sitter, do you hear me?"
"I'm eighteen mum, why do I need one again?"
"Remember the last time I left you alone for a week?"
"Yeah - I was dragged to a party against my will, filmed a cop peeing on a seat - got caught for that and ran down the street while laughing, I forget to eat for the last three days because I was on an Doctor Who, Supernatural and Criminal Minds marathon and survived off of tea"
"You left the part where you got arrested-"
"I thought I was more mature than you?" I asked, picked her biggest suit case up while I packed her car as she leans on it, watching me.
"I would have thrown a party when I was your age - that just shows how much of your father is in you"
"Brilliant" I grumbled and she chuckles.
"And there's my side" she muses while she walks over to the driver's seat and got in. She winds the window down and I leaned on the door while staring at her.
"So why are you going on a tour for some model thing again?" she rolls her eyes.
"Memory is terrible as usual-"
"Hey - actually, continue, I don't really have a comeback to that" I shrugged, well, it's true.
"I'm going to be the person who designs, fixes disasters and things with their clothes - remember?"
"Nope"
She rolls her eyes at me and kisses my cheek, "See you in two months, okay?"
"Kay" I pushed away from the car and she waves before driving off recklessly, "TRY NOT TO KILL SOMEONE!" I yelled at the car as she does a doughnut on the drive way before leaving... mothers.
Later:
The door bell rang, echoing in the big empty house and I sat up, chips and wrappers fell off of me and I felt instantly ill.
"Uh-oh..." I tried to get off of the table, but instead I fell face first into crumbs and wrappers - this is why someone shouldn't have three hundred dollars worth of junk food in a draw in their bed room.
The door bell ring's again and I groaned, sitting up I put my hand on my forhead and burped - ha, tastes like wizz fizz... which is disgusting.
"Dog goes woof. Cat goes meow-" I picked my phone up while rubbing my eyes.
"Yellow?"
"Has your baby sitting come yet?" my mum asked.
"No..."
"Have you been sleeping?" she asks me.
"Maybe-"
"It's three in the after noon back home!"
"... Your point is?" I stood, wiping my face from some chocolate and walked into the kitchen, wetting a tea towel before I scrubbed sticky substances that come from food off of my face and hands.
"I'll text him then-" she was cut of by the door bell and I sighed.
"Guess he's here mum, call you later - bye" I hung up, putting my phone next to the sink as I walked down the stairs and hallway.
"Alright, alright! I'm coming - I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU RING THAT DOOR BELL ONE MORE TIME I'LL-" I ripped the door open and stared up at the bloke in shock.
"You'll what?" he muses, looking down at me.
".... Are you Louis Tomlinson?"
"Yes"
"My baby sitter is Louis Tomlinson?"
"If you're Indigo Terrance, than yes-" I slam the door shut in his face and put my back against it - my friends are going to murder me when they find out.
