"Hey sweetheart" Aven comes jogging to me. I roll my eyes on his comment.
"Hey asshole" I smirk and look away.
"Enemies already, oh come on babe" He flopped his head back and then to the front meeting my death stare.
"You ever call me that again, and I'll smash your pretty face into wall!" I warn and his surprised face grows into a smirk.
"Pretty face huh?" His smirk widened when I looked away.
"Don't get to excited" I mutter.
"Oh I am, about the whole thing" He winked when I looked at him in disgust.
I turn away and walk to the basket of balls. I pick out a yellow one and see Aven right behind me.
"Were starting with balls are we?" He smirked.
"If you had eyes you wouldn't ask such a retarded question" I give a tight smile as two teachers go bye.
"Oh sorry I forgot how much of a sassy bitch you are" He looked up and then down at me with a sickly smile.
"Then remember cause I haven't forgotten how much of a cocky dickhead you are now if your finished wasting my precious time here can we start?" I turn to walk and feel Aven's footsteps behind me.
"You have a nice ass" I stopped in my tracks and turn around just a little.
"Did one of your parents drop you when you were little cause you have fucked brain" I say bluntly with a proud smirk.
"No, all good I asked" He gave me that sickly smile he had earlier.
"They must have lied" I mutter and walk again to the back of the gym. I throw the ball to Aven and he throws back. We time how many times we can catch the ball without letting it fall. Under a minute we caught fifty. In thirty seconds twenty. We moved on to the weights which somewhat excited Aven making him more annoying as he showed off. I pick up the 10 kilos one and started. Aven looked at me surprised and I looked up.
"What never seen a girl weight lift before or what?" I narrow my eyes when he smirked.
"No believe me I have seen girls weight lift but angle that I'm getting in wonderful" I scrunched my nose and looked down. My shirt was rolled up showing my blue belly piercing. I tugged it down and scold Aven.
"Pervert" I mutter and he chuckles.
After class I make my way to the girl's change rooms. Changing into my other casual clothes I make my way out of the stadium.
"Hi" I flinch back as I notice Daniel leaning against the bricked wall. I sigh relief and smile as he makes his way over to me.
"Hey, how did you know I was coming?" I ask.
"One your footsteps gave it away that it's a human being and two your perfume it's a rosy nice smell.. I like it" He grins and I feel a rush of heat raise to my cheeks.
"Thank you" I mutter. His grin doesn't fade.
"Are you free?" He asks.
"Yeah why?" I smile and look at him curiously.
"I found a new coffee shop just a few blocks from my house, do you want to go?" His voice seemed worried and I smiled as his grin faded in a frown.
"I'd love to" I chirp. Daniel's head snaps up and grin is replaced.
"Great!" His voice excited as we walk.
"But I might need to in form my mum before we go, I'll just call her" I pull out my phone from my pocket and scroll down the screen to find my mum's number flashing at me. I tap the screen and put the phone to my ear.
"Hello?" My mum's voice is formal through the phone.
"Hi Mum" I smile.
"Hey, how was school sweetie?"
"Good Mum, um listen is it okay if I can go to the coffee shop down he street?" I bit my lip as the line went silent for a minute.
"Who with sweetie?" Her voice was strict all of a sudden.
"A friend, a guy... new guy" I answer steadily.
"Fine" She chirped. I looked at the hone with surprise.
"Thanks mum" I smile.
"No problem" And she hangs up. I look to see Daniel smiling back at me.
"I can go" I grinned.
"So I see" He grinned back and unwrapped his cane. We walked down the street and into the cosy cafe.
"Wow, it's beautiful" I breath out. It really was. The walls were rosy pick with a contrast with light blue seats and couches everywhere. A full counter going down one root of the small room with trays of cakes, pastries, muffins and many more iced treats. I looked back to see Daniel who only smiles.
"I would agree but I haven't seen the place" He chuckled and for some reason my heart made a loud thud by his comment. The figure before me couldn't see all these things that I could. Daniel couldn't see me. He couldn't see the enemies, friends family. And it all came down to another hard thud in my heart.
