A Little Piece of Heaven

New story, Yay!!

Theres always those moments when your lives takes a turn and change forever. Some of the moments are big and some small.

I never really had any of those moment. Little ones like riding a bike, first day of school. That kind of stuff . Not this time. This time its different. A whole different turning point in my like.

I never expected for my father to just appear in my life. So I didn't expect him to now.

My mother was found dead less than than two weeks ago, and I was the one to find her. I was coming home from school and found her just lying there. I wasn't surre what happen, but the doctors and police say it was a heart attack.

So now I'm in this shit hole they call a group home while they try to find my ' father'.

I knew there was no chance. I never met him and I'm pretty sure he doesn't even know about me. I remeber when I was about 7. All my friends had a daddy and I wanted one too. I asked mom where mine was and she said that I'm too younge to understand. Then finally when I was 12 she explained to me about him. That they had a fling. Like a summer romance and when she left America to go back home to England she found out she was pregnant with me. She never saw him again. End of story.

And that was all I know. I don't know his name or even where in America he lives. How do they think they'll find him?

I don't need him anyways. I'm only 14, but I can handle myself. I don't need this place. I have some friends and even my mom friends. They are all too upset about her dealth still and none of them have kids and are inexperianced. My mom had me younge at 15 so she grew up fast, but her friends didn't. They act more like teenagers still than adults.

Except Neal. Neal was my moms really good friend. I remeber when I met him when I was 8. I liked him instently and tried to get him and my mom together, but it was clear my mom wasn't into him like that. He helped my mom out a lot. Its sad I haven't heard from him. Hes been away on business and I'm not sure he got the news about my mother.

With a sigh I closed my eyes and put my earbuds in. There are mostly little kids here and they have such big mouths, I turn my ipod up louder. With 'Nightmare' by Advenge Sevenfold blaring in my ears I feel myself falling asleep.

With my nightmares, like usually, waiting to come.
