The Cannibals

Chapter 5

|| Ari's POV ||

I wake up on the cold concrete floor and reality hits me again.  All my close friends are dead and I've been kidnapped by cannibals.  There is no way this is ending well for me.  I hear someone coming down the hallway and they stop outside the door to the room I'm in.  I scoot back against the wall and curl up on the floor.

A strong grip rips me off the floor by my arm and drags me out of the room. 

"Wait, where are you taking me? Please let me go! Please!" I plead.  He just ignores me.  He go into a bigger room with maybe 10 guys in it. 

"Why is she in here?" One of the guys asked.  The guy holding me handed him some papers.  "Holy shit," he mutters. 

"What? What's going on?" I ask.

"She's perfect," he says.

"Can someone please talk to me," I beg.

"Sure sweetie what do you want to know?" The guy who I think is the leader says as he leans down to be face to face with me.  Considering I'm at least a foot shorter then him, I felt like a child being scolded. 

"Why am I here?" I ask. They all laugh at my question.

"Because we run a business here," he replies.

"What kind of business?" I ask.

"The meat business," he says.

"That makes no sense, why do you need me and those other girls?" I ask.

"Because you're the meat," he says smirking.

"The fuck I am," I say and cup my hands together.  I swing and smack his temples.  He hits the ground and I go for a cheap shot to the balls for the guy holding me.  Then take off sprinting.  I go through the hallway of rooms and end up in a kitchen.  I definitely took a wrong turn, someone is coming.  I run out the other side of the room and I'm in another hallway.  This place is a fucking maze.  There is someone coming from the other side of the hallway I run into the closest room, and try to shut the door quietly.  Its like a mens bathroom, but it also has showers.  I go into one of the showers and hide behind the curtain.  I hear the door of the room I'm in open and shut.  I close my eyes and cover my mouth trying to stop sounds from leaving my body.  I hear him walk around then I see him walk past the shower I'm in.  I scoot closer to the curtain, and I don't think he saw me.  I hear the door open and close again.  I slip out of the shower and look to the door gasping and grabbing my mouth.  He is standing by the door lighting a cigarette.  He takes a drag then pulls it out of his mouth smirking at me as we walks quickly over to me.  It's the guy I kicked in the balls earlier. 

"No, no please I'm sorry please don't kill me," I beg and shake as he grabs my throat.  I gasp for air, grabbing and clawing his arm chocking me doesn't effect him.  He takes another drag and blows it in my face and drops me.  I take deep breaths, gasping and coughing.  As soon as I catch my breath I make my hand a fist and swing it directly into his throat.  He spits out his cig and doubles over grabbing his throat.  I sprint out of the room and down the hallway.  I go up to big double doors at the end of the hallway hoping it leads to freedom.  I slightly open the door to peak out.  It looks like a meat packing room, but there are men in there so I cant get out that way.  I sprint to the other end of the hallway and open the door.  There are men in there and they all turn and look pissed.  I turn and sprint out of the room I look and see the guy i punched in the throat.  I sprint into the meat packing room and see a knife I grab it and jump on a guy with his back to me holding the knife to his throat.  All the other guys run into the room and look at us.

"How do I get out of here?" I ask.  No answer. "Tell me or I'll fucking kill him!" I yell.  No one answers me so I slice a small part of his neck and kick him into the other men.  I turn and run away.  I make it down a few more hallways when someone tackles me to the floor.

"You've been a very bad girl," he says and sticks me with a needle.  Everything goes black.
