"Are you ok?" he asked as he looked into my eyes. The before I could answer, he had pulled me behind him and I was looking over his shoulder to see Mike, black eyes and all, staring right at me.
"I will have her, she will be mine!!!" Mike yelled as he tackled the guy to the ground. The guy that I believe is my mate didn't look like he was even trying. He picked Mike up, and threw him behind him into a tree, knocking Mike out.
I just stared at him. He came over to me and held me in a hug. His big arms felt very comforting around me, then he pulled away a few feet. "I'm Kolby, and you are?"
I looked at him, forgetting my words. He laughed a little. "My I have your name?"
I nodded my head, "I'm Taylor."
He smiled and I smiled right back. "You have a very pretty name."
"Thank you." I blushed and looked down at the ground. He took my hand and started walking. I walked right by him. I don't know what it was, but the feeling of his big hand in my little one was so comforting, so... normal. I loved it and so did my wolf.
"Your my mate."
