The rest of the week flew by.
Colin doesn't even remember what he did that week besides hang out with the new kids and Seth. Every moment he was away from the brown haired beauty made him more anxious to see him again.

As Colin walked home to his personal prison, he thought all of this. He was certain he would get beat for being early, But for once he didn't care.

Ryely was outside in his yard when he saw Colin walk into the house by his. He didn't know that the slightly older boy lived next door.

•Colin's POV•

I walked into the foul smelling house and instantly knew my mother was home. The strong scent of cigarettes and whiskey were prominent as I ran up the steps, hoping to avoid my mother. My such luck she was standing by my bedroom door.
"Your early." she states angerly. Crap, how early was I? I glance down at my watch.
3:49
11 minutes early.
She grabbed my shirt and slammed me into the wall.
"Why don't you listen?!" she yelled and lifted her hand.
A sharp pain made me daze as I hit the floor.
"Why were you even born?! I hate you!!" She continued screaming and hitting until I was numb.
Lucille had eventully left me to die.
After gathering myself off the floor I painfully made my way into my room to treat and take care of the wounds.
Sans and Snow greeted me as per usual with small yips and barks.

I poured them some food and laid on my bed, too tired to move. I heard the door slam and sighed letting my eyes close.

Finally, a place safe and quiet.
If only for a moment.

~Ryely's POV~

After watching Colin walk into the next door house, I ran inside. Noah and Nathan were on the couch watching a movie on Netflix while Lily and Cora played on their phones.
Lily was probaly talking to that silly boy, Seth. As usual I silent walked past and upstairs.
I went to my room and stayed there until nightfall.
I sat in my bay window and watched as cars and trucks passed by. Then a slamming noise got my attention.
Unwillingly, I looked to Colins yard. The sight was terrible. Colin was laying on the ground, and a lady, I'm assuming was his mother, was kicking him over and over in the ribs and stomach.
My heart felt like it was going to burst as I ran down the steps and out the door, leaving it wide open.
"Ryely?!" Noah's voice came from behind me as I sprinted to the yard.
When I got there the door slamme shut and Colin was left on the ground.
