"Just leave me alone, Carter. I don't wanna talk right now!"

"Baby, come on. You know you want it." Carter said as he grabbed my butt. I rolled my eyes and turned around to face him, knocking his grope off my ass.

"What's been going on with you, baby? You used to love it when I touched you like that." he said. I never did like it, and I kept on walking down the street faster to hope Carter would get the hint I didn't want to talk to him.

"You look so fuckin' hot when you're mad, baby." he said, catching up to me and putting his hands around my waist, resting his head on my shoulder. "It's turning me on, it's so sexy." he moaned a bit while he grabbed my hand and put it onto his crotch. He had a boner, and it was gross as hell.

"Why don't we take this back to my place and do a little somethin-somethin, baby? With what you're wearing, I can tell you want me in you." he said, trying to be seductive. If a tank top and mid-calf leggings told him that I wanted to have sex, his brain was clearly on another planet. I pulled my arm away from him and loosened his grip on me. I walked a bit faster, almost speed walking, to get away from him. He made my life miserable. I truly, truly hated Carter with all my strength.

"Gwen, your ass is super sexy. I want to see it more often." he screamed at me. I was already halfway down the street, and I guess Carter gave up on getting in my pants for today. After he was out of my line of sight, I ran home. I never stopped running, even though my legs hurt and my backpack bouncing up and down was burning my shoulders. My mom was home, reading her smut novel. Gross.

"Hey swee- Gwen, you're sweating. Did you run?" she asked, her glasses falling down her nose as she looked at me. She worked as an elementary school teacher, which meant she was home before me.

"Yeah, I wanted to get home as fast as possible to start my homework." I lied. I had to get away from Carter as fast as possible.

I went up to my room and threw myself onto the bed. I was done with myself being like this. I had to get away from Carter, but if he knew I wanted to break up he would probably hurt me even more. I took out my cell phone. 4 missed calls from Carter. This boy never gives up, does he? I decided to call him back, stupid me. He picked up on the 5th ring.

"Hey baby, did you finally come to your senses? Do you want me inside of you now?" he said immediately. I knew by the sound of his voice that he had a smirk on his face. Disgusting.

"No, you called me 4 times and I didn't want you to kill me. Now that you know I'm not dead, I'll be hanging up now. Goodbye." I said and hung up. I turned off my phone and threw it to the side of me, it bouncing on the bed before staying still. I tried to focus on homework, and eventually I finished.

"Naomi, Brady, Gwen, dinner is ready!" my mom called. My dad was out of town for the next week, which meant that the food would probably be something my mom could heat up. I walked downstairs and I was right. Frozen pizza for the third time this week. I sighed and took my usual spot at the dinner table, next to where my dad would sit. I picked up a piece of the square pizza and it snapped like stiff cardboard. I quickly ate it, not breathing so that I wouldn't have to taste the papery feeling of the cheese.

I finished one small slice and my mom asked me if I wanted any more. HELL NO, I thought, but all I said was "No, thank you. May I be excused to finish my homework?" I asked, and my mom nodded. I left Brady and Naomi at the table who were eating slice after slice and quickly devouring the cardboard they seemed to call food.

After dinner, I was so tired that I just collapsed into bed and fell asleep.
