*Maddy's POV*

It's now time for high school...

Oh boy..

The only good thing about this whole high school thing is that I'll have Leah with me. Michael and Leah's parents made an agreement that she could stay with us and go to school with me until we have to leave for tour. After we're on the road, Michael will become her new guardian.

Eek.

Leah comes over to Michael's around 6 and all three of us eat dinner together.

We talk about school and the tour. It's a nice bonding time for all of us since we are practically family.

Time passes and soon it's almost 8.

Leah and I head upstairs to get ready for bed.

We share a room and a bathroom, and since she got upstairs first, she got the shower first.

While she's in the shower, I check all my social networking, Twitter, facebook, Youtube, Tumblr... yeah that's it.

I look through some comments on Leah and I's latest cover of Part of Me by Katy Perry on youtube.

All of the recent comments and tweets have to do with school starting.

"@julesstyles4449 @Maddylicious16 you are going to rock high school good luck!!

"@maddyandleaharemylife304 @Maddylicious16 you and @Leahswizzle16 are going to take high school by storm love you both

The more comments I read, the more nervous I got. I started to bite my lip so hard I didn't even realize it until I started to taste the metallic taste.

I immediately close my laptop and grab a tissue off my nightstand, pressing it against my broken lip. I hold it there a little bit longer, but it doesn't take much to make the bleeding stop.

Leah soon ventures out of the bathroom in her pajamas, her hair wrapped in a  purple towel. She's got a toothbrush in her mouth, and she silently walks over to her phone, picking it up and typing something into it. She promptly turns around and walks back into the bathroom, not making a sound.

I sit on the bed, staring at the wall. Leah comes back into the room and stops in front of me.

"Maddy? Hello?" she waves her hand in front of my face.

I blink a few times and look up at her.

"What's wrong?"

I shrug and stand up, taking my pajamas with me.

I close and lock the door, turning the shower on. I strip down and step into the warm shower, letting the water fall against my tan skin.

After my shower and my nightly routine, I walk out of the bathroom, steam pouring out.

Leah looks up from her laptop and gives me a small smile. I nod in return, pulling my socks on.

"Maddy, what is wrong?" she asks, closing her laptop.

"Nothing," I mumble, running my fingers through my dripping wet hair.

"That is such a lie. Tell me what's wrong?"

I sit on my bed, folding my legs beneath me.

She comes over and sits next to me, encouraging me to speak.

"I'm scared. What if.. what if I get beat up or no one likes me or god forbid, what if I get trampled?" I ask, a million different scenarios playing through my head.
