The cold summers breeze washed through the city, the glimmering glass windows shining the blazing sun's ferocious light. The marshmallow clouds gently coasted in the baby blue sky as the skyscrapers stood like pillars, holding the city up. The city was a metropolis. Full of offices and homes, skyscrapers piercing the glorious sky with the thick stream of traffic flowing across the roads like water down a funnel. Even though the city was full of over the top technology, people still walked around but it was with a different goal in mind. In the days in which these tragic events happen, every single human being has a chip in their brain. It is implanted at birth and then stays and gets updated as you get older. All information from neurons and other things from the brain such as memories are stored there, rendering the brain useless. This is also the center for all actions and it controlled everything you do. The chip implantation process had begun about 7 years prior and was still going strong. You can message others and your brain was merely grey matter in your skull as all of the brains tasks were handed to the chip. This is where everything changes. You see reader, this story does not have a happy ending. Countless people die. Many violently. Those who survive wish they did not. There are no heroes, only villains and those who step up will be cut down. This story does not end with any amount of happiness.
