My mother is now dead. I stood at her coffin. Trying to hold back tears, I didn't want to hear another apology for my loss. I just wanted it to be freaking over. I wanted to punch something or rip something or someone apart. My mother looked so peaceful lying there, I just wished she was still alive. I spent a whole hour crying and yelling that it should've been me. Aria came up to me and started to rub my back.

"I know you don't want to hear this but, I'm so sorry. I really am."

I just nodded and went back to staring at my mom. Aria left and went back to her seat giving me a small smile. Some of my mom's friends came up to me and told me that it will be better, but i know it won't. How could life be better without your mother?

After the funeral I met up with the social worker Kate that talked to me at the hospital. We walked into the diner we sat at a little booth by the window.

"So Freya, Your mother unfortunately died, and your under eighteen. So naturally you are going to have to go to some type of family."

I nodded although I already knew the deal.

"Your closest relative is in Indiana."

I smiled, at least I am going to be back in the city.

"She lives in the countryside."

My smiled quickly faded. The countryside?! I am not going to the countryside, hell no. I crossed my arms and gave a loud sigh. I fell back into my seat and stared out the window of the booth.

"Freya I know you are a city girl, but I think the countryside will be good for you."

"The country?! The country? You got to be kidding me right now!"

"I wish I was Freya."

The country. I was moving away from the city. But all of my friends are in New York. What am I supposed to do in the country? I mean it doesn't sound all that bad but, There is nothing out there.

"Alright now that we are done talking about this, your plane for Indiana is tomorrow at 6:00, you should get there around 8:00"

And with that she left. I just sat there staring into space. I got up and left the diner.

I packed all my belongings while crying my eyes out. It was too painful to see all of my life being packed away. My mom didn't write a will so most of our stuff got sold or given away to charity. I could't fall asleep, my mind was racing with thoughts.

My mother died.

I have no mother, no father and no siblings. What a wonderful life.

That night I cried and hoped that i will forget about what happened that past week. Especially that incident in the hospital, I could've sworn there was someone there.

I didn't have time to eat in the morning due to the fact that my alarm didn't go off and i had to rush to the airport. I left in my pajamas and Kate picked me up. We drove to the airport in silence other than the times when Kate tried to strike up a conversation.

When we got to the airport it was 5:30 and I rushed to get my ticket. By the timed i got my ticked and went through security it was 5:55. I was surprised how the airport wasn't crowed.

I sat down next to very friendly elderly lady and her daughter. We talked about how this was my first time to Indiana and I told her my mother died and that i'm staying with my aunt. She told me her name was Blanch and where all the good diners and restaurants are in the area.

When I got off the plane I got my luggage and was met with a rather strange woman she wore a emerald green pencil skirt and a black blouse. She had black heels along with her silvery blonde hair thrown up into a half up half down style and a slight curl at the ends. She looked like a princess in a fairy tale. The closer I got the more detailed she got, her icy blue silver eyes and wide perfect smile greeted me with such warmness.
