Alex POV
Alex woke up to the sound of her little sister screaming for her mother's attention. She sighed then climbed of bed even though it was 5:00 in the morning. This is Alex west. She is adopted by Kylie and Tom Harris. There are all very attractive people. Even the 2 year old is attractive. They all have very blonde hair and very deep green emerald eyes. They are a very beautiful and wealthy family. While they are beautiful Alex thinks that she is far from that. Alex has dark brown hair that goes a little past her breast. The ends are dip-dyed with a very blonde color. She has very bright icy blue eyes, braces, and big large nerdy glasses.

Alex is now sitting in the bean bag in her room scrolling through social media. On her IPhone 4s. She's sitting in the dark too. She's strolling through all of the famous people that she follows in Twitter. Then before she knew it it was 7:00 and her mom came into her room.

"Sweetie there are some pancakes and bacon waiting for you downstairs on the table!", said her mom.
"Ok mom I'll be down there after I get ready.", replied Alex.

Alex got up from the comfy beanbag and went straight to her bathroom. She quickly got in the shower and got out. She doesn't have any time to waste. She then got out her flat iron and flat ironed her hair and combed through it roughly with her fingers. She then threw on  a white tank top and a blue and red flannel and some blue jeans. She then threw on and tied her black vans. She ran back into the bathroom and brushed her teeth and put some Chapstick on because she realized she needed it. She then pulled a grey beanie over her head and threw her all black jansport bookbag over her shoulder filled with all of the school supplies her mother made her buy. Plus this isn't the usual for Alex. She usually wears a band tee jeans and converse. She was just trying to look somewhat presentable.

Alex quickly ran down the stairs while her dad was yelling behind her "No running in the house!" . As soon as her dad said that she had no choice as to roll her eyes. It was like a reflex.

As soon as Alex's foot reached the last step her mom blocked her way. "Do you want me to drive you to school?", said Alex's mom searching for an answer by looking at her face.

"No mom I swear I'm fine. I can just take my bike or walk. It's seriously not that big of a deal.", replied Alex making sure that was enough for her mom to hear.

While her mom was looking at her with such a proud look in her eyes, Alex managed to escape the house without being detected.

Alex got on her black bike and put her book bag fully on her back. She looked back at her humongous house and sighed. She is not ready for her Junior year of high school to begin. She just knows that she will be critized for every little thing she does even if she tries to go undetected at school.
