The first floor was just as elegant and gorgeous as the second. I could tell when we were nearing the kitchen because if the strong heavenly scent of garlic and herb potatoes as well as the slight smell of pasta. It smelt absolutely mouth watering.

Walking into the kitchen I was stunned. Though I shouldn't have expected anything less then a grand kitchen, it absolutely took my breath away. The kitchen has always been my favorite part of a house, and I absolutely loved this one. State of the art stainless steel appliances with a huge wooden island, it was my dream kitchen. And just as I had though there were garlic and herb potatoes and what looked like baked ziti sitting in the island steaming from recently being pulled out of the oven.

He walked ahead of me and grabbed plates from a cabinet. Then grabbing silverware from a drawer he served some ziti and potatoes onto both plates. He grabbed forks then sat down on a stool at the island.

"Sit and eat."

He didn't have to tell me twice. I sat and immediately dug into the mouthwatering food. Upon first bite my eyes closed involuntarily and a small moan escaped my lips, the food tasted absolutely divine. He watched me as I devoured my food, occasionally taking bites of food himself. When I finished I brought my dish to the sink as well as the serving silverware and began washing them. Drying the dishes I turned around to put them away when I notice him starring at me with a look I can only describe as shock.

"What?"

He continued to stare at me, his expression the same. I rolled my eyes and continued on my way of putting g everything back to where I saw him get them.

"Are you finished?" I asked.

He looked down at his plate for a few seconds shrugged then looked up and nodded. I reached over the island grabbed his plate and fork and proceeded with cleaning up.

"Where do you keep the tinfoil?"

He gave me a blank look and brought me to conclude that he only used the kitchen for eating purposes. Well I guess I'd just have to look for it on my own. I considered the placement of the plates and silverware. They had been put in those places strategically. Put in those places for easy access when they were needed. I assumed there would be two places the tinfoil could be. I walked over to the large double oven and pulled out the drawer to the left of it knowing cooking utensils were in the right drawer.

"Aha!"

I was correct. A swell of pride bloomed in my chest. I walked over to the excellent dishes and covered them with tinfoil. I was about to ask if anyone else was going to be eating g them tonight when I realized I had no clue what time it was. Or what day.

"Um what time is it?"

He looked at his watch, grunted and looked back up at me.

"It's 11:40pm."

I'm not too stiff so I assume it's the same day. Wow. I had been here approximately 21 hours. I remember going to bed around 2am. I wonder briefly if Vanessa has alerted anyone to my absence. Probably. I rest assured with that insight and attempt to calm my fried nerves. I take the wrapped dishes and put them in the over the top fridge. Turning around I see him standing over by the door. I make my way over to him and follow him as he leads me back upstairs to "my new quarters".

Stopping g outside the door he says, " You'll sleep in here. Do clean yourself up. You are not allowed to leave this room until I come to get you tomorrow morning."

With that said, he walked away. I rolled my eyes at his retreating stiff figure and mumbled under my breath. I walked into "my" room and relaxed a little being out of his intimidating presence. I walked over to the armoire looking for something to wear to bed when I realized, I'm still still wearing my clothes I went to bed in this morning. Oh my god! How embarrassing. I had been kidnapped in my underwear and sweatshirt AND I had walked around in them. I run my hand through my hair, my cheeks flaming red. I rummaged through the armoire and grabbed a lavender colored silk nightgown. All the clothes in the armoire were designer brand and nothing was your average casual style except for the sweaters nd lone pair of leggings. It was similar to the wardrobe my father had me wear growing up. I grabbed the nightgown and matching underwear and headed to take a much needed shower. The shower was amazing. The water pressure was so much better than at school. It was kind of creepy that all the products I use were here too.

Stepping out of the shower I dried myself off, put the nightgown on and wrapped my hair up in the towel. I stared at myself in the mirror. My wide blue eyes gleamed back at me. My tan skin was glowing from the warm shower. I felt refreshed but still a bit on edge and antsy. I walked out of the bathroom and into the cool bedroom. I pulled the soft cream covers back and climbed into the bed. The bed is so comfortable I melt into it. It's fluffy and soft and just hugs my body. I cuddle up to the pillows, close my eyes and let sleep claim me.
