If everything is under water is it really wet?"Alex?"
If God created everything, who created God? "Alex."
What colour is a mirror?"Alex!"
If you try to fail and succeed, which have you done? "Alex!"
"Errr.. Yes sir."
"You heard what I said?" I could hear the rest of my class giggling, my cheeks burning from embarrasment.
"No sir, sorry sir"
"Stay behind Ms West." Great, last lesson as well. The bell rang out, I grabbed my bag and headed for the door."Ms West."I sighed deeply as I rolled my eyes and turned swiftly on my heels, facing my history teacher.
"Yes sir."
"You've been choosen to go to..." My history teacher was said to be the best looking teacher in the school, I personally can't see it.His military haircut and his army like voice, he's engaged as well, how that happened I will never know.
"Now take these forms home for your parents to sign."
What just happened?I took the sheets of paper and stuffed them into my bag.I found my friends waiting for me outside the class-room.
"What did he want?"I looked over to my bestfriend, her brown hair gently falling just below her shoulders, her eyes sparkling as she waited for my answer, me and Felicity have been friends since we were little and nothing is going to change that, she's my Flossie.
"Oh nothing, just some papers."I shifted my bag on my shoulder and walked down the corridoor and out onto the yard.Everyone has a crush on someone that they don't like to admit, mine was Joe Davis, brown hair and gorgeous deep brown eyes.Perfect grades and friends with the captin of the football team,Harry Williams.Harry is the typical boy that all the girls like and has them falling at his feet, although he never looks to be too fussed with them.I looked over to Maya, she flipped her long, curled, blonde hair as she strutted towards them, and almost like sheep me and Flossie followed.
In every friendship group there's always one who gets all the boys attention, the looks and the wolf whistles. In my friendship group thats Maya. She looks like a typical blonde but she's actually really smart and knows her shit. Boys like a brain and a pretty face, right? I don't have any of them, maybe thats where I'm going wrong. After about half an hour of Maya flirting with Harry, we made our way home, I left my friends at the corner and walked towards my house.I put my key in the door and walked inside.I walked straight to the kitchen, grabbed a bag of popcorn and went to my room. There's nothing better than eating popcorn and listening to Every Avenue on full blast while your parents are out and that's just what I did.I grabbed the papers from my bag and began to read them.
I could feel my heart beating faster as I read that I'd been accepted to do a scholarship at a private school in Brighton.Did I really want to do this? Brighton is 260 miles away, is it really worth moving away and starting again?A years scholarship may not sound like a big deal, but I'd literally be across the country away from my family. What if I got my parents to sign and than decide? I groaned as I flopped back onto my bed, thoughts spinning through my head.
