"What do you mean she's not enrolled in this school? Her name is there." Aggressively Tyler slammed his hand onto the table, pointing out my name on the clipboard.
"I'm sorry, but this is an all boys school. The name on this list says Alex West."The woman fragile and old, terrified from Tyler's temper.
"Tyler just leave it."Tugging on his arm I pulled him away from the desk.I've been here what half an hour, and I can't even get into the school. This was supposed to be the new chapter in my life, a new start and it was pretty much over before it had even started. What am I supposed to do now? Go back? What if I don't want to go back?Living in the same place for fifteen years isn't really that fun, and here I am in a new place that's about to be taken away from me in a matter of seconds.
"What am I gonna do?"Looking over to Tyler, searching for some kind of closure or reassurance. The look in his eyes, frantically looking for an answer. His mouth parted slightly, waiting for the words to come out, and then closing his mouth again, wrapping his arms around me.Creating a bubble of protection and security.
"Hey sorry to interrupt but I'm here to show you to your dorm."My heart melted to the sound of a rich American accent, quickly letting go of Tyler and straightening my top.The finest specimen of a male I have ever seen, golden blonde hair swept across his forehead, gently cornering his majestic blue eyes. His broad, strong shoulders covered by a smart yet casual white shirt, hinting as his abs underneath. How I wish I could jump on top of him and un-wrap him like a christmas present.I bit my lip at the thought, catching his eye.
"Tyler. And Alex, right?"I nodded quickly wanting him to say more in that gorgeous accent. In an instant he picked up my bags and propmted us to walk with him, looking back over my shoulder I saw Tyler doing a childish impression of this sex god, I stuck my tongue out at him playfully and turned back to watch Blondie's fine-ass show me the way to my room.
Blondie showed us upto the dorms rooms and unlocked room 94.Being the only girl on the whole campus, meaning that I have a room to myself as sharing with a boy is un-appropriate.I threw myself onto the bed, admiring the room. Was there any point in unpacking? Seems as I'd be getting on the next plane home, was there any point in doing anything?I quickly grabbed my jacket and headed out to see the campus. I don't even know what happened next, all I knew was that I was on my butt in the middle of the campus.
"Oh my days, I am so sorry."That cute little Lancashier accent,I could reconise anywhere.I've actually just made body contact with him, I touched Joe Davis. His hand held out strongly, offering to help me up.I quickly wiped my clammy hands on my leggings before taking his hand, hoping I didn't make more of a fool of myself from having sweaty hands.
"Thankyou."My cheeks blushing bright red, gently brushing off the dirt from my pants.Joe smiled sweetly as he began picking up his stuff.I immediately began to help him, picking up posters and study books.I then proceeded to walk to Joe's dorm room with him, obviously I only did this because I needed to put his books in his room not because I wanted to know how far he lived from me, c'mon guys what do you take me for? A stalker? Well maybe a little.
Looking around Joe's room ,I placed his books on the desk, I glanced out of his window realising that our rooms were facing each other across the courtyard.I smiled to myself as I continued to look around.
"You okay?"I turned my attention to Joe who was taking his stuff out of his suitcase and putting it into the dresser.I watched him become frustrated as he tried to fold up a t-shirt but failed.
"Yeah, give it here."He flung the shirt at me, mesmerised as I folded it and placed it neatly in the drawer.Reluctantly I sat down next to him on the bed, not really wanting to push my luck.
"You know what I could do with? A massive burger."I smiled weakly as he exclaimed his want for meat. "Oh gosh, I'm so sorry."
"It's fine"So it would probably make more sense if I explained to you that I'm a vegatarian and have been for the past two years. When I was thirteen, I went down to the farmers market with my dad and the things I' seen there was enough to change me for good.
"I'd better get going."
"Want me to walk you back?"
"No, it's okay."
The cold breeze brushing against my cheeks harshly, making my bangs partially covering my sight.I hugged myself tighter as the coldness got inside my jacket, shivering from the cold night air.My pace getting faster as I approched my dorm.Opening the latch, throwing my keys to the floor and collapsing onto the bed.I hauled my blanket over me,sinking into the soft mattress beneath me.
