_New Beginnings_

Naruto walked out of the bathroom and downstairs, using a blue towel to dry his hair. Natsu was seated at the table shoving a bagel in his mouth with sour cream on it. "Where's mom and dad?" Naruto asked, setting the towel on the couch in the living room. "Mm." Natsu finished the bagel before he spoke. "They went out for breakfast. Some time alone." Natsu said. Naruto smiled hearing that. He walked around the kitchen counter, reaching for a bagel himself on the plate in the center of the table. He padded the table for Natsu to hand him the knife. "Here here." Natsu handed him the knife. 

Bing! The elevator door sounded and opened. "Are they back?" Naruto questioned.  "They shouldn't be." Natsu's voice trailed off. A huge bolt of light shot out of the elevator, Natsu and Naruto didn't even move they just watched the light strike the refrigerator. "The one." Natsu said. "The only." Naruto finished. 

"Dumdumdummmmm!" Sting shouted from the elevator. 

"Get your light shaved ass in here!" Natsu barked as Sting rushed in and wrapped his arms around his cousin, Natsu. "Hey man!" Sting laughed as Natsu patted his back. "Hey Rogue." Naruto smiled as Rogue circled around the counter to Naruto. "Hey, oooh is that bagel?" Rogue questioned. "Shut up!" Naruto smacked Rogue's arm, who gave him a hug. 

"What are you guys doing here?" Natsu asked. 

"Well we moved to town. Mom's away on business and dad's finding a job, he has an interview today." Sting explained. "So what's up?" Naruto questioned. Rogue turned to his brother and raised an eyebrow. "Wanna party?" Sting questioned. Natsu turned to his brother who pushed his bagel aside. "Well this could help our parents out. They need some time alone." Naruto said. "Yeah, things were tight and tense for a while. But mom threw up last night and dad took care of her the entire night." Natsu explained. "Throwing up?" Sting questioned. "Is Aunt Ami okay?" Rogue questioned. Naruto gave a evil grin to his brother. "More than okay." Natsu smiled. 

Mira walked down the street to the local coffee shop; in her Honey Punch Snakeskin Mini Skirt, a black Plain V-Neck Blouse, black Choies Black Thigh High Striped Sock, and brown leather knee high boots. She pushed open the door and made her way to the back of the shop to the only Uchiha in the room, Itachi. "hey." he sat up to kiss her but Mira moved her head away and sat down across from him. Itachi sighed and sat back, "I had a feeling I was gonna get the cold treatment sooner or later." he said. "What did you expect?" Mira snapped. Itachi looked up at her. "I've been lying to everyone I care about, my own family about who you really are because you wanna protect Sasuke and this is killing me Itachi. I'm not a liar!" she barked. 

"I know, I know I know and I'm sorry. I don't always like being an Uchiha because of this. I don't want you to lie but I have to protect Sasuke from afar. If he figures it out that he's an Uchiha then everyone will come after him." Itachi tried to explain. "Then you tell him. I'm not a liar! I won't lie anymore Itachi. Either you tell Sasuke or this..." Her voice trailed off. Itachi knew exactly what Mira was going to say. "Mira please." He reached his hand up to her's but she pulled it back. "No. I can't do this. I can't." Mira held back the tears, she stood up from the table walking away. "Mira!" Itachi called, a look of complete sadness on his face. Mira held her hand to her mouth, tears going down her face. She pushed open the door, pouring into the street walking the other way. Itachi watched from the window but something was wrong. Mira kept walking and walking but a creepy man in black was following her. Mira stopped and turned around to see the creepy guy still walking up to her. "What the hell!" Mira shouted as three more came out and shoved her against the wall. "Uh!" she grunted in pain as two men held her by her arms and the other one held a needle to her neck. "Uh!" she grunted. "Mirajane Strauss. Girlfriend to the beloved Itachi Uchiha." he snickered. "Beloved is right." a dark voice came from behind the man. He let go of Mira's throat turning around but as soon as he did, Itachi shot out his arm making huge black flames swarm the men surrounding Mira. "Uhh." Mira covered her face as the men dropped dead. "oh my god." she said. "Are you alright?" Itachi asked. Mira just hurried into his arms, "I'm so sorry. I'm so so sorry." she wailed in his chest. "Mira this is why I didn't want to tell him. Your also in danger just being my girlfriend." Itachi said. Mira looked him in the eyes and sniffed, she held his arms to her face. "I'll tell him." Itachi said. Mira cried more. "I'll tell him." he said pulling her into a hug.
