Avery Elizabeth
"What happened today at school?"
"What do you mean?" I looked up at my mom unknowingly.
"What the hell do you mean 'What do you mean' , Avery , you hit somebody and you think you're off the hook?" God, Ren told? No way. He wouldn't do that to me, even if I did hit him. Was he okay? Mental note; text Ren and see how he is. "Avery Elizabeth!"
"What!?"
"Look at me when I am talking to you!" She yelled, then growing calm, "Give me your phone; One week."
"That's not fair, Mom!" She just nodded. I shook my head the opposite of hers.
"Avery, hand it over or it will be two weeks." I sighed and pulled my phone out of my pocket and threw it onto the wooden dinning table.
I turned around and went up the staircase to my room. At least I still have my ipod, laptop that doesn't work, and my stereo.
Hey, mom took my phone..so I can't text you.
Oliver BadAss Mitchell to you: Lol why
Because she took my phone? Duh?
OliverBadAss Mitchell to you: No . Avery . I mean why did she take your phone. Duh?(;
Ohh...lmfao ! Because somebody told about Ren
Oliver BadAss Mitchell to you: It wasn't me, I was busy puking, and making love to your face (;
You wish! (:
Oliver BadAss Mitchell to you: you wish! Not me!
Quite frankly, I did wish. But he didn't need to know that.
Oliver BadAss Mitchell to you: Ave?
Yeah?
Oliver BadAss Mitchell to you: what are you doing?
Talking to you and listening to music why?
Oliver BadAss Mitchell to you: come over
to your house?
Oliver BadAss Mitchell to you: yeah, or I will come down there...if that's okay with you
I hadn't replied. I didn't know what I was supposed to say. I looked around my room. '
Oliver BadAss Mitchell to you: I'll be down there in two minutes..
Five Minutes Later
"I can't Avery, I have to be home before one," Oliver stated unconvincingly. I leaned in closer to him, to his lips.
"Please?" He shook his head again. I fell back onto the bed. "But I don't want to be alone tonight."
Oliver Allen
"Avery please, you're alone any other night. What's up with you?"
"I don't know," she giggled. I could see in her eyes, a flash of uncertainty--sadness.
"Not tonight. I have to go, I'll see you in the morning." I stood up and walked to the door. I turned the knob, half expecting her to try to stop me. She didn't even move from her spot on the bed. In fact, she was smiling like nothing was even bothering her.
Thank God my house was only a mile away from Avery's. I might have died on the journey otherwise. I got to my house, walking up the stone pathway, then up the three stair-staircase. I opened the door and walked in shutting it quietly behind me. My mother walked out of the kitchen into the family room.
