Mark's POV

"Mark, Mark, Mark," I heard an unfamiliar voice call.

I slightly opened my right eye to peek at my clock. It was 6:30 am, Monday. I rolled my eyes, flipping over to lie on my side. My mind was raging about something I couldn't figure out, taking away my sleeping rights. I groaned, begging for it to shut the hell up. It only got lounder, clearing itself up. I sprung up with wide eyes, realizing what I hadn't before.

"It's Monday and I have to go to school," I explained to no one.

I jumped out of bed, struggling with my feet wrapped up in the covers. I let a series of curses escape my lips as I flipped and flopped to get out of the comfortable situation. I finally freed myself and sprinted out my door to go to the bathroom. Portraits of family members seemed to want to facepalm at my recklessness. I huffed, making it to my destination. Though, as I entered, I slipped on the rug, almost hitting my head. I stood, dismissing the pain and stripped myself of my pants. They were black with pink mustaches, not that that mattered right now,

"Gaaaah," I yelled, almost tripping on my pant leg.

I gripped the shower curtains, pulling them down. I knew that they were easy to place back, so I just jumped in, turning on the water. I regretted that.

Since I hadn't ran the water before getting in, it had to heat up.

Which means it was still cold.

And that is what caused me to squeal like a man-baby.

After taking a half-assed shower, I brushed my teeth. I put a dash of baking soda on my toothbrush to help my teeth shine. Somehow, my teeth cleaning went without misfortune. My hair on the other hand. That was a completely different story. I had nearly used my razor instead of my brush. After brushing it, I grabbed my hairspray and-

"Fuck! Fuck shit fuck," I yelled, realizing that I grabbed the air freshener. Now I'd be walking around school smelling like butter cups! I'm not Asriel!!! Even though I didn't mind, some idiots at school would be on my back for it! But I had too keep going.

I ran downstairs to the kitchen, nearly falling on the last one. I opened the fridge and grabbed my lunch for the day. My backpack was already packed. It was a Pikachu bookbag I had picked out from Amazon. I shoved it in, dashing out the door. I ran to the bus stop, digging my bus pass out of my bag. As the bus pulled up, I found it. I smiled, following behind a girl with a Pokeball bag. I stepped on and showed the driver the pass.

Looking around, there was only one seat left. The one in the very back. I sighed, walking to the back. I sat next to the same girl that had been in front of me.

(Mind if I insert myself for an actual reason? No? Okay!)

I looked at her, watching her eyes grow slightly as she spun her head to look at the window. Everyone else was being noisy as hell, so it wouldn't hurt to introduce myself, right?

"Hello, stranger! My names Mark," I greeted.

She seemed to freeze up before glancing at me with the reply, "Hi. I'm Aj."

I smiled brightly, offering my hand for her to shake. She hesitantly took it, looking like she was about to jump out a window.

"So, what grade are you going to," I asked.

She seemed even more nervous now, fidgeting with her jacket. I patiently awaited her answer. We did have ten minutes until we got to school. Why not make small talk.

"I'm a freshman," she finally spoke.

I rolled my eyes.

"Oh yeah. That's gonna be easy! Except for gym. Coach Rielding is an ass," I joked.
