Chapter 7

"Next up we have Red Shadow against the Slayer!" 

The announcer screams at the top of his lungs and the crowd screams as we get in the ring. Yes, as you have guessed I am Red Shadow. I am of a small build but I have muscles. I wear black leggings and shoes with a red hoodie covering my face, My usual. My opponent, The Slayer, Is a tall guy with some serious muscles. I stare at him intensely in an effort to find  his flaws. Bingo! His lower calf on his right leg is covered in bruises and has a nasty twitch. This fight was going to be quick and easy, as all my other ones were.

"Fight!" 

He wasted no time in attacking me which took me by surprise. I remove my hoodie to show my face and he stops in his tracks to look at me.

"Y-Y-You're a girl?" 

I smirk as I work my way towards him, and put my hand on his muscles, lightly brushing down his arms. He looked at , smirked and started to lean in. Ew. Just ew. I slap my hand across his face and whilst he was in shock, I gave him a few jabs to the head and to finish him of I gave him a side-thrust kick to the stomach. I didn't kill him but he was unconscious, this is how all my fight go.

"We have a clear  winner! Red Shadow!"

And that was cue to grab the money I had won and leave before any body else could say anything to me. As soon as I round a corner I pull out the wad of money to count it. $50 000! Thats almost all I need! I just need $200 000 before I can get my own apartment. 

I now stood out side my house i take a deep breath before opening the door, hoping my mother isn't home. 

"Where the fūck were you?"

"Why would you care?"

I honestly wasn't in the mood to argue with her, I knew she was going to beat me anyway. Why not just get it over and done with now? 

"Fūck it!" 

She angrily stops towards me and the last thing I remember is her hand colliding with my face before the darkness invites me with open arms.
