It was Wednesday!! Ughh still far from Friday. Vanessa wore a chevron themed crop top and a mint green skirt.
She got her blue backpack and— oh yeah it was her turn to drive today (cuz it was Veronica who drove them to school last Monday.) She walked slowly and lazily. They had waffles and bacon with some scrabbled egg. Mom makes the best waffles. Mom gave her the keys and Veronica came and rode the car too. After that 15 minute ride, finally they were there, they were always early.
The bell rang, class hours began, the sisters were already in class before the bell rang.
Time Check: English Class
"Class, open your books to page 65." loudly said Ms. Valerie. English Class was boring. Vanessa decided to pass notes to Devan.
It said:
Hey meet me at the gym later!
She passed it at the back cuz he was there.
Devan wrote something.
Okay sureeee
He passed it back to Vanessa. She faced back and they smiled at each other. It was actually good that the teacher didn't catch them passing notes.
At the gym.......
Vanessa was the first one to arrived. Devan came with some of his friends and they had some props. His friends Nick, Mark, and John were holding a long cartolina and it said "WILL YOU BE MY MINE?" That was the time Devan entered and teared the cartolina in half and he knelt down holding flowers. Vanessa came down the bleachers and went near to Devan. Devan was smiling but— "Devan, look I don't want to forget our friendship, I love you as a FRIEND and I don't want anything to ruined that" Vanessa explaining. Devan dropped the flowers and ran out of the gym. "Devan, Devan, wait, hold on,!!!" screamed Vanessa.
Time Check: Lunch Time
Vanessa had to tell her squad about what happened in the gym. All of them were in the table already. Vanessa started, "umm..... guys i have something to confess." Started Vanessa "What???" Chloè asked. "At the gym me and Devan met and he asked me if i wanted to be his girlfriend....." Sadly said Vanessa. "What did you say??" Veronica asked.
I said No. "But why?" Asked Bianca. "He was you superhero at the prom and you friendship lasted for years!" Marga said. "That's the point!, our friendship will get ruined I don't want it gone, I'm not yet ready!!" Vanessa replied.
