Him And Her

chapter 2

I parked my bike in the school's parking lot. I tried to slink away before anyone noticed that I was there. But I wasn't quick enough. "Where are you going nerdy?" I looked around to see the "handsome" face of Julian twisted in a mocking sneer. "Are you blind or are you so totally an idiot that your brain's nerve cells couldn't process what your little eyes were seeing? In either case, I'll tell you where I was going. I was going where we are supposed to go right now. INSIDE THE SCHOOL PREMISES. If you can't understand such a little thing , I suggest you get your IQ checked", I retorted .

I knew Julian would be coming after me after this speach of mine. So I took off towards the school building, without waiting to see his reaction. Sure enough I heard Julian screaming in anger. I looked behind to see how far away Julian was from me. I hadn't covered much ground after I had started running. Unfortunately Julian was gaining on me. I quickly calculated the time Julian would take to catch me. It was less than five seconds. I cursed myself for being so slow.

Just then I saw a crowd of people coming my way. Apparently "the Sasha" had arrived. I ran towards the crowd and tried to blend in. I saw Julian joining the crowd to look for me. I hid behind someone to stop him from spotting me. But it turns out there was no need for that. As soon as Julian saw "The Sasha" he went towards her to say hi. He completely forgot about me. I thanked my lucky stars and took off towards the school building before Julian spotted me.

As I entered my classroom, I could see only a few people in the class. Good for me though.  Now I could sit on the seat right in front of the teacher. You guys must be thinking in your heads " Don't do it Adam! You are going to die sitting in the first seat!!!!" But I beg to differ. There's nothing better than the first seat if you really want to pay attention in class!
