"It was not that long ago," she began, "I was four years old. I lived here right down the street. I lived with my mommy, daddy, and big sissy Katlynn. I was playing in the backyard with my best friend and saw some boys riding on their bikes. We went to see what they were doing and Katlynn pulled us out of the street. She told us to never do that again. About five minutes later, I saw my dolly in the street and went out to get it, but didn't see the truck coming. By the time I heard the horn, it was too late."
"When I woke up, I was laying on the ground. I got up and walked into the house and saw mommy, daddy, Katlynn, and my friend all in black. I didn't know why they were crying until I saw a paper that read:
R.I.P. Becca Marie Coddith
Born: 1/29/2000
Died: 7/28/04
You will be so dearly missed.
At that point, I realized what had happened. I died."
