Once Upon A Time - Imagines

Nice try (part 2)

(Authors note: In this version Hook doesn't meet Arthur and doesn't find the pages. While researching Emma sees the picture of Hook and her. She becomes so mad she storms towards the mayors office and tries to break the protection spell.)

Pan entered the shop and walks straight towards the back room. Hook follows him, while curiously looking at the objects on display.

When Hook enters the back room as well, he sees pan standing in front of a bookcase. He could not see what Pan did, but Hook hears a metallic sound. The bookcase slides sideways and reveals a dark space. Hook takes a step forward, and looks into the space.

"Belle!"

"Help me carry her towards the bed."

"What is she doing here?! I thought everybody left the underworld." Hook looked at Pan accusingly, while grabbing Belle's legs.

"As you may know I made a deal with Rumple. Zelena's hart for my help. When the laddie left me, I knew he could not be trusted. So after we made a second deal, a heart for Pandora's box, I decided I needed to keep an ace in the hole. I put a spell on a mannequin, to replace Belle, and hid Belle in there."

During Pan's explanation they managed to place Belle on the bed.

"So Rumple took the wrong body home. He is going to be pissed when he finds out.

What are we going to do now?"

"Quite simple really. We are going to wake Belle and the three of us will find a way back to the land of the living."

"How are we going to do any of that!"

"Belle's mother is still in town. We'll find her. She'll wake her daughter. And then we are going to start our research."

Colette, Belle's mother, spend most of her time in the Author's library. It took 3 words to convince her to help Belle ("Belle needs your ...." "Help? Tell me what to do."). In no time Belle's curse was broken. She had a heart to heart with her mother, talking about everything that happend, before she helped Colette move on. When they arrived back at the shop, Hook told her what happened while she was asleep. After they explained everything, they hit the books.

"Ugh, nothing!" Hook says.

"What did you expect. It's no easy task to escape the underworld."

Sometimes Hook really wanted to punch Peter in the face. He remembered something Henry once told him, while using the 'internet'. Some people just need a high-five. In the face. With a chair. Hook snickers to himself.

"Private joke?"

"Something like that."

"Hey! I found something." Belle exclaims. "It's a spell to put a soul in a box. You can use it to transport souls to another realm!"

"That's amazing!"

"Oh. Apparently it only brings a soul there. It can't stay if its body isn't in a good shape."

"Let me have a look at that." Belle gives the book to Peter.

"It's a start. Now we have a living person on our side, it's possible to solve the rest of our problems."

"How! Belle needs a portal to get to our world. My body is decomposing, and yours disappeared. Furthermore we need two hearts to bring our body's back to life!"

Pan stares down at the spell, evidently lost in thoughts.

"I think I have an answer for all of those problems. When you were locked in Hades dungeons, do you remember seeing a huge door with a metal lock?" Hook nods. "Well behind that door is the soul of one of the giants that grew magic beans. He might be able to help us. Hades locked him up because the giant would not tell him how to grow magic beans.

As for our body's, I have an answer for that too. My body disappeared and became part of Storybroke's magic. Belle's child is the child of the dark one as well. So because of her pregnancy Belle has access to magic. I know a spell to make my body appear again. I just need to learn the spell to Belle. As for your body, there's a spell for that too. And hearts .... You are not going to like this, but I have more minions than the Darlings, Greg and Tamara. They are more loyal than the previously mentioned. They will die so that we can live." Peter leaned back in his chair after the explanation.

"That does seem to solve our problems. But do you really think I'm able to do that spell?" Belle said.

"I will write all the instructions down for you." Peter glanced at Hook. "While we take care of that, can you go to the giant? When I'm done writing, we can get the necessary ingredients."

Hook looked at Belle, and then back at Peter. "I'm not sure I can let anyone die for me. It would be unfair to them." Peter smirked. If only hook knew that the spell for his body would require a few sacrifices too. "Ah, don't worry laddie. They're worth it. Mostly muscles and hardly any brains. Besides, the less minions I have, the better, right?" Peter replied in a mocking tone.

Hook sighed. "We would get to work. The sooner we get back the better." Hook says while leaving the shop. Peter starts to write and Belle looks over his shoulder, already trying to memorise the instructions.
