Tyler's P.O.V

His hand wraps around my waist and the other rests on my cheek. I lift my hand to his neck and the other to his chest.

I don't know how long we were on my bed making out, but it was getting too heated!

I hesitantly pulled back. I don't know about me, but Jim's face was flushed, lips swollen, tussled hair. and heavy breathing.

Our chests pressed against each other. Our breaths slow and shallow. I sat upright on my bed and decided to break the comfortable silence.

"Sooooo...." was all that I could come up with.

"Sooooo..." was all he said.

"Why are we so awkward?" I chuckled.

"You're a really good kisser..." Jim blurted out.

I blushed a deep red color.

How could he say that so..... calmly and out of the blue?

"Cause I'm speaking the truth." he said, startling me.

"What?" i asked confused.

"You said ' how could i say it so calmly and out of the blue' and that was my response, because it's the truth." he said.

We just sat there starring at each other for I don't how long. How did he manage to do this to me? To make me feel so special, so.......so....... I don't know?.........Loved?

It can't be loved because he doesn't love me, does he? No, of course not! He wouldn't love someone like me. I'm not likeable, much less loveable!

He takes my hands in his and stares right into my eyes. It feels like he can see right through me, Like he can see my soul, my past, everything. And it's something I don't like. He can't know about my past, not now. not ever.

There are things that shouldn't be said, but might be said depending on the situation. (a/n: Life! Can't it just be easy?!)

There are things in the past that come to haunt us.

I look away, I don't want him to see me, to see my life. I can't drag him in...... I can't!
