(Above is my vision of Zane's pack house, imagine it at night, please)

Zane paid Jimmy and looked at his home. It was big, and housed a lot of his pack members (which made rent a big load off of everyone's shoulders), and it stood overlooking the forest- it was so high on the mountainside you could even faintly see the human's city lights glowing faintly in the distance. Zane grinned a wicked grin, he was back, baby, an Alpha returned back to his pack victorious, just like he knew he would.

Zane walked into his family room, smiling as the familiar scent of cooking meat greeted him. He quickly found himself greeted by something else that- quite literally - knocked him off his feet.

Several of the packs youngest had rammed into his legs much like a wrecking ball, and he found himself on the floor as several happily squirming children hugged him tightly.

"Alpha Zane's home! Alpha Zane's home!" They squealed happily as Zane tickled them to get them off, "Hey, no tickling." The smallest child, Johanna, said with a pout.

Zane laughed at her gently, "Why not? That's how most of the best Alphas win fights..."

Johanna's eyes got wide, "Really???"

Zane nodded and said to the kids, "But that's just between us, okay kids?"

The children nodded and giggled before being shooed off by their mothers to their rooms.

"Oi Zane." An all too familiar voice said. "You smell like perfume, how long till we get a Luna?"

Zane tensed. In his pack it was necessary for the Alpha to have a Luna by his twenty fifth birthday, or else the pack would pick his Luna for him... Zane had turned twenty four last month. He shuddered at the thought of mating some random female from God knows where.  He glared at his Beta, "Well, no matter what, I'll have a mate within a year... whether or not she's my choice..."

"Technically she would be your choice by choosing not to get a mate..."

"Just kill me now and get it over with..."
