i'm going on this religious retreat right after school and i am quite excited. i probably won't know anyone there but they say we will meet more people, so that's fun? idk i'm nervous to leave me hum-drum home for a weekend but i want to get away from my family.
she closes her computer and packs her backpack as her mother calls her, "kelsey, sweetie. it's time to go."
"ok, mother! on my way." kelsey picked up her phone to post on insta real quick.

with a bathroom selfie, wearing a white t-shirt that says legendary on it, purple hair, black painted nails, little to no makeup on; rose gold iphone having a clear case.
"my daughteress needs to get down here or she's going to be late, again." kelsey's mom yells, disappointedly mumbling again.
rushing downstairs, she grabs her keys and yells, "bye mama," to her mother.
"bye?" her mother questions, confused like, "be safe!"
as she's driving to campus, she saw her friend sahar walking. she yelled out after her to get in the car and she too a quick photo and hoped quickly in the car.
"have to post this, hold on." sahar said.

"really girl?" kelsey laughed, pulling into the school's parking lot.
"yes, kels, it's important!" sahar dramatized.
"well, all i have to do is get through this day and i get the weekend off!!"
"goodluck, find me a guy," sahar winked as they separated to lockers and classes.
