*Before Clans, Healers and such. All cats are welcome, kittypets or otherwise *
~Background Info~
1. Heads and Seconds would take turns healing the Group if a cat or cats were injured and even shared a den. They also participated in hunting and the like.
2. Thirds would take care of sending out patrols for hunting and setting up borders.
3. Trainers taught the young, called Newbies.
4. There were Lead Warriors for both border and hunting patrols so every cat knew his or her duty among the Group and all cats protected the kits and Queens and Elders if there are any.
5. If the Head is killed or retires, The Second becomes Head.
Just like with the Clans...6. Elders were called Wise Ones.
7. All Groups met at Half-Moon,before meeting at the full moon, in what will be The Place of No Bloodshed, leaders looking down at his or her Group from what will be called Tall Stone.
8. When visiting other Groups, Heads usually brought their Second and a trusted member of their Border or Hunting partol, usually the Lead Warrior.
9. The Heads of Border and hunting patrols would sometimes join their cats together in case of an emergency, like searching for a lost kit or for battle patrols.
10. It was rare that the Heads and Seconds had Newbies.
11. Usually the Second would choose who would become a Trainer, rather than be one themselves.
12. Newbies were usually trained longer than any Clan Apprentice and made a warrior usually after a battle and showed great loyalty to their Group.
13. Kittypets would rip their collar a little to show their loyalty rather than fight for their place and still get to wear it. Some chose to keep theirs whole in case they wanted to return to their Housefolk. And few rarely did.
14. If a Trainer chose to retire or dies, The Third would take over the rest of the Newbie's training if there was no other cat willing to, just like they would if The Second retires, dies or becomes Head.
