Just The Beginning

He's back

My name is Génesis, I'm 16 years old and I'm from New York City. How ever, I currenly live in North Carolina with my mother Laila. We moved here a couple years ago with my brother Bryce, who now lives with our dad Bradly in LA California. I never really knew why he decided to leave. I guess it was because he's closer to dad and when he and mom got divorced we got separated. It was extremely hard for me but at one point it didn't matter anymore. That's life, people leave.

"Hey mom, at what time is Bryce and his friend arriving?" I asked grabbing my purse and house keys. "Around 5pm, don't come back home late!" she yelled walking out of the kitchen. Well let's see about that. I walked to the bus stop since I don't have my drivers lisence yet, and over there I met with Andrea, my best friend and neighbor.

"Hey, what was it that you wanted to talk about?" she asked sitting next to me at the bus. "Well, remember Bryce?" She nodded in confusion. "He's coming back home, and I'm just nervous. Because when he left he sort of shut me down and our bond disappeared.." It broke my heart every time I spoke about this "everything will be fine, but is he coming back alone?" she said with a big smirk on her face. "He's coming with Mikey" I rolled my eyes "MIKEY BARONE! AS IN YOUR YOUTUBE CRUSH!" she was way more excited than I was. "I don't really care" I said standing up to get out of the bus, who'm had parked right in front of the mall parking lot.

At the mall we went from store to store looking at clothes and shoes of different brands. We were having a nice time until my mom called. "G they're here! Their flight landed early and they're on their way home!" she said really excited. "Oh, well I'll be on my way after I get some food" I said sounding a little harsh and then I hung up. It probably was a stupid decision for me to talk to my mother that way, but I couldn't control it. "Are you okay?" asked An passing me a cup of hot chocolate. "Yeah I'm just sadly nervous, if that's even a thing" I tried laughing but it was no use. Having to see someone who left you years ago, is something quite heard to do.

After we finished our lunch we made our way home and An seemed very excited. She has always liked my brother in some way but would never admit it. Though I'm obviously not stupid. "Are you excited to see Bryce?" I asked with a huge smirk on my face. She hated when I did that. "What are you talking about" she was as red as a tomato. "I know you are, no need to hide it" I said as I laughed, getting a killer stare from her. "Oh yeah what about mikey!" she started laughing and I just ignored her comment.

Andrea's POV: (point of view)

Genesis and Bryce have always had an amazing connection, though she's worried about everything that's happening. But she doesn't realize this is what she needs. This is what we need. I've liked Bryce since ever but I never told anyone. I was always scared of what their reactions might be. When he left I tried to get him out of my head but now that he's coming, it's not that easy anymore.

"Are you ready?" asked G  looking at me quite nervous "are you?" I replied laughing.

We got out of the bus and walked to her house. Once we were in front of the door everything started kicking in. This was the moment where everything would start to change.

"This is it" I said staring straight at the door "I'm not ready" she turned to face me. "Me neither" I said as we both laughed. What would I do without her? G grabbed my hand and stared at the floor. "We can do this right?" she asked facing down. "As long as we're together" I squeezed her hand and showed her a humble smile. Seconds after, I slowly opened the door..

G's POV:

"As long as we're together" she said opening the door. We entered the house and noone was in sight. We both stepped in and looked around. Not one single movement was seen.
"MOM!" I yelled hoping for no respond. "In the kitchen" she shouted back.

We walked nervously over to them and they were sitting on the table eating some fruits like nothing was going on..
