CH. 2

12 year old Hayes P.O.V

Lucius and I were playing in the arcade at the mall when I saw the most beautiful girl in the whole wide world. Usually girls have cooties and whatnot, but she was beautiful. She has dark hair and tan skin, she looked at me and smiled and waved.

I went to go talk to her when a boy walked up and hugged her. I suddenly wanted to go and tear his arms off for touching her.

Lucius looked at me and smirked.

"You think she's pretty? Go talk to her. I bet you she will like you."

I look at him frowning slightly before sighing, making my way over to the pretty girl and the boy.

The girl looks at me and blushes smiling, I smile back and scowl at that good for nothing boy. He needs to go away before I bounce his head off the ground like a basketball.

I stand in front of the pretty girl finally, "Hi, I'm Hayes." I introduce myself.

Her smile widens a fraction and goes to open her mouth, but that piece of dog poop speaks up before the beauty in front of me.

"I'm Caine her boyfriend." He stated proudly holding her hand.

I glared at their hand holding and noticed how my new beauty pulled out of his hand and hit his arm, "He thinks he's my boyfriend but he's not."

The blue eyed beauty looked at me and smiled, "I'm Elisa, it's nice to meet you Hayes." She shook my hand and I felt these tingles and I could've sworn I saw her look shocked as if she felt the same thing.

Lucius comes up to us, looking on edge.

"Sorry to break this up, but we have to leave Hayes."

I frowned, but Elisa gave me her home number and told me to call her.

I winked at her and watched as Caine followed her trying to hold her hand.

I made a move to go and tear his arm out of its socket but Lucius held me back and lead me out of the mall.

On the ride home all I could think and talk about was Elisa. She was such a beauty. She smelled like fresh strawberries and chocolate. It was absolute heaven.

We pulled into the driveway of the mansion, Lucius told me to call it a pack house.

He never said why, but I went with it.

So we pulled into the driveway, he parks the car and looks over at me and says, "Someones got a crush I see."

I playfully glare at him and hit his arm, "Shut up."

"Hayes there's something we need to discuss, before we head inside. Do not panic alright?" Lucius became serious and made sure to keep eye contact with me.

I nodded my head, curious as to what he wanted to say to me.

"Well Hayes...this is a long story, but I'm a werewolf, and the reason you feel this close bond to me is because you are a wolf as well, only you haven't shifted yet."

I looked at him for a minute before saying, "Are you high? Did you get weed from Gyrome when we were at the mall? His stuff is really bad I heard...."

"Hayes, Shut up and listen dam-how do you know about a drug dealer Hayes?"

I shrug and wave my hand telling him to continue his nonsense story.

-1 hour later after a long ass story-

"So you're serious right now?" I ask in shock.

Instead of responding Lucius gets out of the car motions me to come out as well, and starts taking of his clothes.

I look away and shout, "LuLu what are you doing?!"

He chuckles at the nickname I came up for him but tells me to watch.

I slowly open one eye and watch as his body bends and breaks and grows fur, then ten seconds later a wolf appears in front my eyes.

I don't remember much because I passed out.
