I'm frozen with this fear that you may disappear, before I've given you the truth.


I took a deep breath, this would be the day.

Today would be the day that I tell him how I feel.

He stood by his locker the door swung open and his head hidden behind the metal, he was rummaging through his backpack, and with a sharp intake of breath I started moving forward.

As soon as I'd taken the first step, he stepped back and slammed his locker shut, simultaneously throwing his bag over his shoulder.

I froze.

He walked towards me, and as he passed by me he sent me a smile and nodded his head.

I felt my chest tighten, and my face warm.

As soon as he disappeared the warmth faded, and I frowned.

Apparently, I wouldn't be expressing my feelings for him. Not today anyways.
