We just got done unpacking. And all I wanna do right now is sleep. Then I hear the doorbell ring. "Sabrina answer the door" mom says "Why me, why roean can't do it" "she is taking a shower, just answer it" "fine" I answer the door. And it was a brunette who looked like she was mommy's age. "Um hi I'm Maia and I live right next door, you are invited to a party. Well, you and your family. Be at my house tomorrow at 7:30pm." "Oh okay bye" I close the door in her face. I know it sounds rude but its mom's fault. She didn't let me go to sleep. "Brina who was that" mom says. "That was the girl next door she invited us to a party so we could meet some friends. Tomorrow at 7:30." "What is her name'' " Maia Mitchell " soon as I said that name mom dropped the plates in the floor. And began shedding tears. "Mom whats wrong" "I'll tell you when you get older". "Mom, I'm 14 how older can I get"

Rowan POV

I was just playing on my Wii. And all of a sudden I hear mom and sabrina screaming at eachother. So I decided to ease drop. I walk down stairs and I notice its coming from the kitchen. I crack the door open. And thats when sabrina pushed moms red button. "Maybe if you just told me who she was, she probably could've been a clue to why you drove daddy away" sabrina says. Then mom slaps her so hard that she made sabrina fall. I start to cry and they see me. Sabrina gets up and runs to her room dragging me with her. "Girls!" Mom calls after us. How could she put her hands on a child. We just got here and its already gone down hill.
