His name struck me like a canon ball. Zenix my former best friend. Zenix the boy who was always protecting me from everyone else. Zenix the boy who died all of those years ago.

"No. He can't be." I whispered quietly. The girl who was crying looked up from her brother's chest looked up at me. She took a glance at her brother and he nodded.

"Come follow me." She said, taking my hand and dragging me into the woods. The boy was following behind me as the girl walked us further and further into the wood. Suddenly I heard a cry and a shout.

"Was that?" The boy asked. The girl let go.

"Travis or Zenix? Yea. Actually it could be both." She said before running off. The boy and I looked at each other and then followed the girl into the woods. We reached a campsite where there were many tents and people. I swear there are so many people in this camp. We followed the girl towards one of the bigger tents where another scream broke out. She darted inside with the boy and I close on her tail.

"Jacob, Robin what is going on?" She asked.

"Ahh Amethyst, Vylad. Its not Travis or Vicky. Its Zenix. We don't know what to do. Travis and Vicky were sent out earlier but Zenix is going mad. You should go see him." The girl with raven black hair and deep blue eyes.

"Thanks Robin. Jacob, go check to see if anyone else needs help. I think my dear brother here found a place where he wanted to build the village. You two go check it out." The girl from earlier said. She walked into the tent and I was left at the front with Robin.

"Hi there. You must be that girl that Vylad has been stalking. He talks greatly about you." She said with a cheerful smile. "By the way, I'm Robin and I work here hat the medical tent."

"Hello there Robin. Well I am F/N and wait. That guy from earlier, Vylad was it? He is stalking me?" I questioned, astounded at the news.

"Yea. He is looking for a lord for us you see. There are so many of us that its getting out of hand for Vylad and Amethyst. They are always on the hunt for a place for us to settle down and then everything happened all at once. The hunters are out looking for food for everyone and the healers all are out looking for herbs. Amethyst is kind of busy now so yea. He thought you would make a great lord."

"I see. Well I guess that is ok." I said. We both sighed and then laughed. Amethyst's head pocked out.

"Hey. Yea I guess you would like to see your old friend again right? Well come see the on in and see him." Amethyst said, pushing the curtain back. I waved at Robin and followed Amethyst inside.

"By the way I'm F/N." I said as we crawled through the small flap. Amethyst nodded and then went in. I crawled inside and took this section of the ten in. It was plain white with a small lamp and a wooden table that was beside a bed with his eyes closed while his body was shaking.

"I don't know what to do. This has been going on since last week. Hey Zenix? I brought someone to see you." Amethyst said, shaking the boy. The boys eyes fluttered open and I saw blood red and then they turned into the soft green eyes that I loved.
