I was staring out of my bright and open classroom window as I felt a fingertip run down the side of my new school shirt, I turned around in concern for I had no clue who was stroking me. Thankfully, it was only my dear friend Jasmine studying the fabric flow and feel of the t-shirt laying comfortably skin-tight against my ribs and shoulder with ease. "And what may I ask are you doing?" I nagged playfully at her randomness and awkwardness that she now possessed tugging my shirt in different directions as I stared cluelessly humoured at her from above "I like your new shirt Vicky!" She stated as if I couldn't tell by her thorough examination she was contesting between her shirt and mine. "Gee Jazz, I couldn't tell!" I spoked sarcastically prodding her her strange natures she performed constantly "Jessie's behind you!" I tried to annoy her but she fell for it foolishly looking back at me both sheepishly and annoyed as she lifted one eyebrow and smirked as she looked over my shoulders.
"Oh look! There's Cody" she spoke slyly as she continued to stare over my side acting as if he actually were there
"I'm not that stupid ya know?" I tested her statement
"Pity," she spoke clearly slim at over acting "he looks like he needs to say something important" she added pointlessly to our playful argument in which we poked and prodded at each other's turns in out own statement each magnifying the effect the other had.
"Hey Vic!" I heard a regrettably far military voice call from behind me, I screwed my face and leant my head on my arm as I have Jasmine a look that she could easily translate to something along the lines of 'seriously?' She leant closer and spoke slowly and teasingly "I did warn you." She liked up her messy pile of scrappy and reared books and pages as she swiftly speed-walked out of sight. I sighed then turned to my very own personally annoyance. "Cody." I spoke trying my hardest to not be rude and to fake a smile, even my darkest smile he would fall for. "Hey Victoria?" He started his sentence, I posed a gesture with my hand removing to from my chin and pointing my  index toward the celing. He stupidly looked up, I sighed in frustration. "Oh! Right." He said as he corrected himself "either Vic or Vicky ok? Do NOT call me Victoria." I reminded for the quadrillionth time, it surely was no use again. "Ok well 'Vicky'" he autocorrected as I faked a grin and nodded my head raising my eyebrows hinting I wanted him to get to the point "I was wondering if you. . . Would like to go with, me?, to the prom?" I flung my head into my arms on my desk as he sat in the desk behind me at the sane time that Jazz walked in again to get her pencil she had forgotten. I glanced up at her mouthing  quite obviously 'h-e-l-p' she just laughed flicked her tight black curls in her slender tan hands and. Left the classroom again to head to science. I had no choice but to look back at Cody or 'Codes' as some other people called him. "Look Cody, I know you like me." I stated as if he hadn't gotten all his several friends to tell me various times before " but I have no interest in you" I raised my voice mildly annoyed at yet another attempt to ask me out "and apparently there's no possibly way to get that into your thick skull!" I muttered through my teeth and clenched jaw, e still managed to looked both confused and heartbroken, it would have made me feel like a monster for elton him down, if, he hadn't asked me the same thing for the last week ever since it was declared that the prom dance would be on. "Look Cody your seventeen, I eighteen, I'm older, your younger, I'm graduating this year, your staying to do algebra tests. I don't have any interests in you, you just don't give up it's pointless and I will never say yes. I'm sorry but this is getting old." He allowed me to let the subject drop but all through maths he insisted on helping me with things I knew how to do and he didn't even know what the questions meant. But that's Cody for you!
As the first-break-bell rang out a glorious tune eye ruins loved to hear the hall was a burst with life, a jar stuffed with sardines, a energetic flow of emotions represented by a loud, tinny echoing surrounding of noise and music. I managed to squeeze a squeeze in the curvy, chattery line towards the food bar. I spotted Jazz on her way in along with the rest of her class as she handed out what seemed to be party invitations to everyone accept for Jessie, then she saw me and quickly whiz zed through the crowds of people and dove gracefully into line with me as I noticed there was deep blue glitter in her hair. "And what would this be?" I asked a she handed the note to me as well, though I couldn't help but state at the glitter dancing in the bright lights from the hall roof that hung lifelessly dragging above us " it's a invitation to the beach trip on Saturday if you wanna come?" She grinned thankfully as if I'd already said yes "of course! I'd absolutely love to, what could be better, beach trip with my BFF, cute guys in board shorts, one last rage party before we graduate. It sounds amazing!" She unnecessarily hugged me till I couldn't breath them she let of and wrapped her right arm perfectly around my shoulders as she once again felt my shirt "by the way, where do you get this?" She asked in high wishes "the office." I said as if it were obvious, which it should be. "Well where else do you think you would get it?" I added in a 'dah!' Factor type way. Like where else? She didn't seem surprised at me saying this. "Well I'm glad you can come." She said out of topic as I looked down to study the invite "you didn't put the time! You said starts at 6:00 ends at 9:00! Is it am or pm?" It seemed I finally caught her by surprise with something, her jaw dropped as she cupped her mouth in her perfectly olive skin type, then formed it to a hand megaphone gesture as she dreamed out to everyone "IF YOU GOT A INVITATION FOR SATURDAY IT IS PM!!!"  "Good to know." I laughed as I rubbed my ears she has almost killed. She turned her head towards me innocently for a second trying to keep a straight face, I joined too, we cracked up Arthur same time. "Very mature of you to do that." I joked as I play punched her shoulders; it's something you get when you are a tom boy, you become swag but also weird and crazily insane, best example in my school. . . Me.
