He fiqured that he would start the search for this Mason person at the woman's house. He knew by heart the woman scent now all he had to do was follow the trail. He speed past the trees leading him straight in front of a run down house. He walked towards the house sniffing the air checking to see if anyone was inside. When he heard nothing he approached the house staying in the shadows. When he approached the door , he halted his steps. He could of sworn he heard whimpering but when he listened closer he didn't anything. He materialized to the other side of the house wandering the halls still staying in the shadows something was not right he felt someone or something in the house. He withdrew one of his Katanas. He came upon a door that was bolted with five locks. He once again heard a whimpering noise, he knew for sure that it must be mason. He once again materialized to the other side of the door when he looked around the dark room he saw mason tied up laying on the bed. The boy be no older than three.

With his magic he flicked on the lights, he descended the stars as slowly as he could trying not to frighten the boy. When Mason locked eyes on him he started whimpering and thrashing loudly only injuring himself more.

He bent down and slowly " Do not scream when I uncover your mouth little one, your sister sent me". Mason stilled his movements watching him closely. When he went to undo the ropes the boy flinched away from him. " I am not here to hurt you little one" he said gently. He was becoming more and more surprised with the way he spoke so gentle. When he reached to do undo the ropes he again the boy still flinched out of instinct but remained in place.

With all the binds free from Mason he could see all the bruises and the malnourishment the boy suffered from. "Mason you have to be a good boy and do everything I say" talking slowly and calmly so the boy would understand him. Mason nodded " What your name? he asked in a soft spoken voice much quieter than his sister's. " My name is Xzavier now grab onto my neck Mason and keep your eyes closed" Xzaiver said quickly. Mason did as he asked.

Xzavier shadowed through the wall keeping hold of Mason and his Dragon blade in his free hand. Something was still in this house. He needed to get Mason out of here safely. He walked down the hall finding another way out. The house was too quiet there where no echoes in the house. He walked into the living room and he knew they were no longer alone " Mason I when I put you down I want you to hide in the closet and do not come out till I get you. Understand? Xzavier said while removing him gently and putting him on the floor. " Yes I understand" mason ran as quickly as he could into the closet when Xzaiver knew he was safe. He switched his Dragon blade to his right hand.

He closed his eyes sensing were the creature was. Without any warning he threw his Dragon blade up above him hitting his target. He opened his eyes and looked at his opponent that now laid on the floor. " What is a day breaker doing in this house" Xzaiver said through clenched teeth.

"I'm here for the debt" gasped the day breaker holding his side to stop the bleeding. Xzavier bent down " What would a day breaker need with a human? It is forbidden to come to come into the realm of the mortals! "

The day breaker shook under the gaze of the thrakon " My Lord wants the munthrek there is a bounty" Xzavier was becoming impatient with the day breaker he was leaving something out. He reached for his Dragon blade " I know you are not telling the truth" he said in a harsh tone. He knew his eyes flashed over when the day breaker began to beg for his mercy. " and now you are no longer any use for me, may Fenardiah have salvation on your soul" He then plunged his blade into the day breakers chest ignoring his pains of agony. He snapped his fingers and the day breaker vanished.

He walked to the closest " Mason it's all clear, come out now" the little boy walked out " monster gone now? " Xzavier was shocked by his words " What monster are you talking about Mason?" he asked while picking him up and shadowing out the house. " man with two face" Mason said. Xzavier stumbled before he righted himself and continued to walk, the day breaker was in his human form how could this boy of three years see his true form. " Mason be honest how do you know he was a monster? " he asked cautiously. " I dream of him " he shrugged his shoulders. " Yes the monster is gone" no use in lying he thought.

"We go see sissy now" he whined. "Yes we see your sister in a while" he knew if he would run now it raise more questions and questions that involved his life was never good. So he would have to walk the hour journey to his place "Sleep now I will wake you when we arrive" The boy nodded and laid his down but he knew the boy would not sleep.

"Samuel!" he contacted his head servant "Yes my Lord" the servant said in a shaky voice " How is the girl? " Samuel sighed knowing that his answer would not please his master " She has woken up and managed to lock herself inside her bathroom my Lord" "How long has she been in there! " he yelled outraged. " Since you left my Lord" Xzaiver sighed rubbing his head " I'll be there prepare the guest room for the woman's brother" Samuel gave the order to servant " Is there anything else my Lord ? " he asked " Yes contact Galen immediately" Xzavier knew Galen would have field day when he hears what he has to say. " Can I ask why? Sir" Samuel hoped he was not pushing it. " The time has finally come"
