Piper I

"Be strong..." He said "Don't lose hope, Pipes"

I woke with a start and panting. I hate having those dreams... They remember me of my brother... And how he disappeared, and then passed out. And now I'm tearing up. Great. I hate crying. I got out of bed quickly and washed my face. Cold hit me like a truck. I looked up at my mirror with my light brown eyes and saw my now pink face. I sighed and dried my face.
"Goo-*yawn* Good morning Pipes" Bryzz said yawning. He's my Kwami, and he transforms me into Silverpine
"Morning Bryzz!" I responded, patting his little spiky head. Bryzz is like a baby hedgehog, but he's silver. He has big gold eyes and a tiny body. It has been one month since he came into my life and transformed me into Silverpine, a super-heroine that saves Vancouver from akumas.

"Do you have school today?" Asked Bryzz

"Nope... My home-school teacher is on vacation, and that means that I have vacation too!" I replied excitedly while I changed into some denim jeans and a band tank top. My favourite.

"Let's go eat! I'm starving and I want some grapes!" The only thing that Bryzz eats are purple grapes. He told me that kwamis were very picky, and then laughed thinking of a kwami that only ate Camembert cheese (wonder who).

I raced downstairs rapidly trying to not wake up Mom and Dad. I tip-toed into the kitchen and grabbed the pink lemonade –I can't live without lemonade–, some grapes and a pop tart. I sat on the stool and handed 5 grapes to Bryzz.

"Hey! That's not really nice, your pop tart is huge!" He protested while I laughed. I shoved my pop tart in my mouth and Brys snapped his little mouth at me. I drank my lemonade while my kwami devoured the grapes. "Gimme more grapes, please?" He asked hopingly. I chuckled and gave him a handful of grapes.

"No more" I warned him. I stood up and left my cup in the sink. "Race you upstairs" I said defiantly while Bryzz was stuffing all of the grapes he could into his mouth.

"Ney! Nafs no fair" (Hey! That's not fair) He protested while flying up and racing towards me.

*later*

I looked up from my Neko Atsume game when my mother knocked on my door. Brys hid and I said a 'come in'
"Piper? Good morning. Your teacher-"
"Is not here, I know. I have one day off" I finished for her. She looked at me with raised eyebrows and nodded.
"Well then, you can not stay all the time here locked up in your room. You are going to the park, or something like that." And then my mother closed the door and I counted the sound of her footsteps down the hall. Brys peeked his head from under my book.
"Can I come out of here now?" He asked.
"Yeah, come out" I responded.
"What's going on, Piper?"
"I don't know... Sometimes I wish my parents would stop being so over protective, you know? Ever since my bro-brother passed out, they act as if I was a porcelain doll, and I am not!"
Brys looked up and smiled with pity. He cuddled my face while I laughed.
"She's right on something. I can't stay here all day. I can maybe patrol as Silverpine?" I asked my kwami. His eyes lit up and he nodded quickly.
"Yeah!" He squeaked, "do it!" I giggled and got up. I touched my choker. "Bryzz, spike me up!" I exclaimed. A soft silver light surrounded me while my choker started to spread down my body. A silver body suit appeared instead of my clothes and a spiky belt replaced my brown one. I flashed a hand over my face and a silvery mask appeared on it. I ran a hand through my hair and on it was a spiky headband. My spear was on my belt and I was transformed into Silverpine.
"Let's go save my city!"
