I checked my watch waiting with a rose in my hand, Nervous I tried to act like I was "Doing" something else other than waiting. I looked down the long light brown tiled hallway full of blue tall lockers on both sides. Finally I saw her, Jessica Blossom. Her pretty beige eyes sparkled in the light.
(Jessica) "Hi Jamie! I didn't think you'd be here this year, I'm so happy you are! (Jamie) "Uh..Oh..Hi! I..g..Got you a r..r..rose." (Jessica) "Aww. Thank you! Anyways come on classes are going to start!"The bell rang, by the time I closed my locker Jessica was already halfway up the hallway. Her pretty black dyed hair danced as she turned around and waved for me to hurry up.
During math class all I could think about was the algebraic expression to Jessica's heart. Lately I was day dreaming of paradise staring at her sleek black locks. Then I was rudely interrupted when the teacher asks me a question she obviously knows I can't answer
(Teacher) "Jamie do you know the answer to question 8?" (Jamie)"Uh...isn't it..a+p-71=23? (Teacher) "No, That's incorrect. Pay attention next time hotshot."
Jessica and bunch of other girls giggled,I thought Jessica's was the cutest. Then the teacher looked at me over her glasses and went back to writing on the board. I tried to take notes but all I did was doodle all over them. I started drawing a manga type picture of Jessica and me. I finished drawing the picture, I just wish it was real. I wish I could shower Jessica with puppies and kittens. But I'm just chasing a dream waiting to catch one. The teacher almost caught me. After that class finally ending and the bell rang. I packed up my stuff and sludged out the hallway along with everyone else. Alone I stood waiting for Jessica.
