Among all of the evils of man, their is one truly more appalling than the rest
An ugliness that is cultivated in adolescence and leeches on until death
An illness that can not be given a cure, and can only be conquered
This disease can not be cleaned by Gods heaviest of showers
And is in fact a storm itself, one that can create mass hysteria and panic
A storm that reigns from one generation to the next, and is rather expected to consume people
This evil, which can move mountains and dethrone kings
Is able to spread like wildfire and creates nothing but eradication of trust
Attacking us in our youth, when we are most vulnerable
A beast feeding on our curiosity and insecurities
Pulling in children to possess a power that is out of their control, and has dreadful consequences
Whether it's the filth coming from their mouths, or the virus that resides in their pockets
This evil that plagues the world can not be fought and can only be ended by individuals
So the best an individual can do is to become a panacea that remains non belligerent
While also gritting through our own insecurities, because the best of us can find happiness in misery.
