Arriving home, I stepped inside and heard my steps echo throughout my somewhat empty house. I went to the kitchen and reached into the cold freezer, I barely felt it on my already frozen hands. When I took out the pyrex dish of lasagna my fingertips stuck to the frosty outside."God I wish I paid the heat bill..."
I murmured to myself, then I heard a knock on my door followed by the somewhat calming jingle of my doorbell. I opened the door to be confronted by the bad boy, Lucas Brown, before I could even manage to conjure up a thought he said
"So you're not gonna invite me inside princess?"
With a smirk on his face he slid past me into my house.
"There any specific reason why you're here, or do you just have nothing better to do?" I questioned with a slight sarcastic smile.
I guess my eyes lingered on his lean, but muscular figure a bit too long because interrupting the silence he said in his deep voice
"You like what you see sweetie?"
My checks blushed a light wash of crimson red and I replied
"No,"
I paused and looked him up and down then continued
"I've seen a lot better,"
He stated at me with a somewhat hurt look, but further in his eyes I could see that he knew I was lying.
