I put on my black studded loafers and grabbed my tan satchel and huge art folder from my bed. I adjusted my glasses which I only really needed for school, and walked out of my apartment. It was my first day back at school after the October holidays, now back to the final year of 6th form. I assumed that Ollie, Ella and Jake weren't awake yet, so I made my way towards the lift. The apartments at Kensington Park were strategically placed. Nearly all of them were the same size, apart from the 2 penthouses at the top. The floor which my dad let me stay on worked out rather well, considering there was only young people on this floor, so when any parties were thrown, they wouldn't disturb any of the older residents too much. My dad stayed in the Managers apartment, which was on the 1st floor. I only stayed in one of them on my own because there wasn't exactly too much room in the Manager apartment, and I needed more space. There were 8 apartments on the floor that mine was, the 8th floor. Kensington Park has 15 floors, so quite a few people lived here. When the lift reached the ground floor, I saw that the same paparazzi as every day were waiting outside, trying to catch a glimpse of any of the stars. I smiled and waved at Alexa, the secretary. I looked at this weeks grand display of flowers and made my way out of the revolving doors.

''Hiya Rosie!'' I heard a few of them call. I waved at them and chatted for a bit, considering I still had a while before school started.

''Have you heard about who is moving in today?'' One of the regulars, Tom, asked.

''No, who is it?'' I replied, acting clueless.

''One Direction! This is one of the best things that has happened to the paps!'' I smiled and nodded at his enthusiasm.

''I'm so sorry. I've got to go to school. I assume that you will all still be here later?'' I tried to be nice to the paps, but in reality, they got on my nerves. They agreed so I quickly started walking. I smoothed out my black skater skirt and tucked in the burgundy heart print shirt a bit more. I hated first day's back, I liked it in the sense that I was still tanned and my hair was still slightly lighter from holidays, but I hated the new people, who pretended to be my friends, knowing who I was and trying to get to people through me.I had friends at school, I just wasn't as close to them as I was to Jake, Ella and Ollie. One of my closest school friends was Millie, she's been in my art class since I started my GCSE's and I've always sat with her. Georgie, who was in my form, has always been a good friend, we've both always been there for each other and have stuck together over the whole 7 years. Their boyfriends, James and Charlie, have always been around as well. Luke always hangs around with us as well, who I was quite close to. My Ex, Ed, used to be part of our group, until he left for Uni last year. And managed to cheat on me within the world record of 3 hours. Dick.

I was sitting in the common room, only having 15 more minutes until I could go home at 12:30, as I only had double art and a half an hour study period which had been spent making tea and catching up with some other people in my year. I got out my phone to text Ella,

To; Ella

Anymore news on the new arrivals? Is it safe to walk back or is it a fan attack outside?

From; Ella

2/5 Direction are here, you could probably get home, not too many fans. Jake and Ollie says Bring McDonalds or be killed, your choice.

I picked up my bag and checked to see if I had my purse, then heading out of the old building towards Kensington High Street.

When I got back to Kensington Park, which McDonalds in one hand, there was about 50-70 teenage girls crowded outside the hotel. I rolled my eyes at their screams and shouts, and went into the building as quick as I could. There were boxes full of items and a few guitar cases in the lobby, so I stepped around them towards the lift. Luckily there was no one inside it, so I pressed the 8 a few times in an attempt for it to not stop on the way up. The short lift ride later I was back home, but I went across to Ollie's apartment instead to get rid of the food.

''How was school, loser?'' Ollie smirked from his black leather sofa, he was sitting next to Jack, both in sweatpants and t-shirts playing on Ollie's XBox.

''Shut up, I bought you McDonalds.'' I tossed the warm bag of food towards his face and walked back over to my apartment to dump my art folder and bag. I decided not to go back over to Ollie's, and tied my hair up into a high ponytail so I could start on my art coursework. I used one of the rooms in the apartment purely just to do my art stuff, it was quite messy in their and had draws and shelves full of supplies. I had a small table in one of the corners that my book fit quite comfortably on and a cushioned spinning chair. I plugged my phone into the speaker and put it on shuffle.

3 hours later I left my art stuff for another day and decided to make use of the swimming pool, considering it was almost always empty at this time of day. I grabbed a fluffy white towel and the first bikini I saw in the draw and walked outside, locking the door behind me. I looked at the other apartments on the floor, which were now filled with 5 stupid, teenage boys. I pressed the lift button and went down to the underground level, were the gym, spa and swimming pool was. I plugged my phone into a little speaker and put it on one of the stone tables that were around the edges of the pool. I put my music on shuffle and slipped into the water. After a few lengths of the warm pool, the background music came to a sudden stop. My head snapped up too see my dad standing next to were my phone was.

"What did I tell you about playing music at the swimming pool!" I tilted my head to one wide and raise an eyebrow at my dad. I shrugged my shoulders and my dad pointed towards the door of the swimming pool, were I saw the highly anticipated boys standing. I looked down at my reflection in the water, wet hair and old bikini. Brilliant. All the boys heads turned then all started to stare at me. I waved my hand slightly in their direction.

"Uh, boys, this is my daughter Rosie, Rosie, that's Niall, that's Liam, that's Zayn, that's Harry and that's Louis." I scanned the group, easily being able to tell who was who by the countless magazine articles about them. There was no denying that they were extremely attractive, making me feel about ten times worse.

"Hi, nice to meet you." I finally managed, even though they were all making me feel slightly weak at the knees. They chorused a few Hi's and hello's, until my dad started talking again.

"Rosie lives on the same floor as you all, in the apartment next to you actually Louis." I was silently praying for my dad to shut up and move on, but he seemed to have other ideas, basically to embarrass me further.

"I have some paperwork, so Rosie would you mind taking over? Just go upstairs, change and then show them the gym, tennis courts, games room and the bar." I have no choice but to nod and pull myself up and out of the pool, knowing all the boys were watching me. I rolled my eyes as Zayn held in a laugh. I wrapped the too small towel around me as much as I could and waved at my dad, but sticking my middle finger up at him once his back was turned.

"Come on, we can't be that bad!" one of the boys laughed.

"There has been worse." I siged and carried on walking towards the lift.

I unlocked the door to the flat and ushered the boys inside. My flat was warm, cosy and quite modern. "This is the living room, I'm just going to get changed." I darted out of the room towards my bedroom, tying my hair up into a bun and grabbing a new pair of underwear out of the draws. There was a red Jack Wills hoodie laying on the floor so I chucked that one with a matching pair of black leggings with a pair of black running shoes. I went back to the living room to find the boys looking round my flat. "So should we get going?" They all nod and follow me out of the flat. Once we're in the lift, the boys start to ask questions.

"How old are you?" Louis asked.

"18 in 3 weeks"

"Got a boyfriend?"

"Nope, have you all got girlfriends?"

"Me and Liam do, but Louis, Harry and Niall don't." Zayn told me. Harry nudged Niall and whispered something in his ear, as Niall looked me up and down and then nodded, agreeing with whatever Harry had said.

"How long have you not had a boyfriend for?" Harry smirked.

"2 weeks? Maybe 2 and a half."

"What happ-" The lift came to a stop and I was straight out the door, heading towards the gym. Zayn and Liam walked next to me, whilst the others stayed a bit behind.

"The others are behind us because they're looking at your arse by the way." Zayn said quietly. I sighed and pulled my jumper down a bit more and pushed the gym door open. It was going to be a long day.
