Sophie was very enthusiatic about her new power. I have no idea why, but she was REALLY happy about it. I don't mean the 'it's-my-birthday-yay' kind of happy, I mean the 'OH-MY-GOSH-I-JUST-MADE-A-MASSIVE-BREAKTHROUGH-FOR-THE-ENTIRE-WORLD-I-FEEL-SO-HAPPY-AND-PROUD-AND-EVERYTHING-IS-AMAZING-WOOHOO' kind of happy.
Yeah.
"OH MY GOSH! I HAVE A SUPERPOWER!" Sophie exclaimed.
"Sophie! not so loud!" I whisper-scolded.
"Okay, sorry. I just feel so happy right now." She said.
"You made that PRETTY OBVIOUS. Anyway, I have a question." I said.
"What is it?" Sophie asked.
"I'm just wondering HOW THE HECK YOU DIDN'T BLACK OUT AT ALL AFTER YOU CAME OUT OF THAT ROOM." I said.
"I have no idea. But hey, I don't really care. Let's go and do something fun with our superpowers!" She said, cheerily.
"Okay," I replied. We went downstairs, then outdoors.
"It's so sunny today," Sophie said.
"Yeah," I agreed. "Maybe we should go to my room instead of out here."
"Sure. Let's go," Sophie said.
We went inside my room. I went through the door, and Sophie literally went through the door. That was a change I needed to get used to. Then, we had a superpowered pillow fight. That's actually a lot more fun than it sounds.
I telekinetically lifted up five pillows and and threw them at Sophie. "Gotcha!" I said.
"Nope!" She turned intangible, dodging them.
We went on throwing pillows at each other for about 30 minutes, then went downstairs to get some food. We got some bacon and eggs, then some ice cream afterward for dessert. Yeah, I might be rich, but I still don't like caviar and tapioca. Neither does Sophie.
"Alright Sophie, time to be serious." I said.
"Okay," Soph replied.
"So, you better not be a supervillain," I said, in a very serious tine. Sophie burst out laughing.
"C'mon, you know I wouldn't do that! You said to be serious!" Sophie said.
"Alright Soph, now the real thing. What are we gonna do when school rolls back in? Are we gonna have to hide our powers?"
"I guess so. I mean, we kind of already have to because people are gonna freak out if they find out, especially your dad. We don't want to be guinea pigs for baffled scientists, do we?"
"Yeah, you're right. We'll just burn that bridge when we get to it, I guess.
The day went on normally, well as normal as a day with having superpowers can be, then ended.
