Screaming their names, Dean and Roman fired at Rowan hitting him, he fell as they reached Paige and Seth. Roman checked on them, while Dean shot back at the Wyatts, both were alive, but hurt bad, seeing no other way out Dean turned to look at Roman and spoke.

"Baby boy, listen to me! You need to get Seth and Paige out of here!"

"What...what about you?" Roman asked, his tears falling silently.

"I'm going to end this!" Dean answered, already having a plan, but first he needed his loved ones to get safely outside.

 "Dean, I..."

"Roman, I love you so damn much! Now, take them and go, I'll be right behind you I swear!" Dean said, trying to fight his tears, as he kissed Roman.

 "I love you too Dean."

"Go now!" Dean ordered, as he stood and after checking to make sure Roman and the others were near the door, he turned back towards the large barrels of gas and closed his eyes as he fired, hitting them.

Roman had just opened the doors and was struggling to get both Seth and Paige outside, when the explosion hit. The force of the impact caused them to be separated, as they were thrown forward, Roman hit the ground hard and rolled, before he hit a police car smashing his head off it knocking him out.

**Later**:

Roman slowly opened his eyes, his body and head hurt, but he couldn't remember what happened. He looked around the dimly lit room groggily and realized he was in the hospital, he looked at the ceiling trying to remember what happened, but his mind was a blank. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, as he did he suddenly remembered everything and quickly opened his eyes. Sitting up he began calling out for Dean, Paige and Seth, as he did the door to his room opened, he turned to see Reed come in; he looked exhausted and there was sadness in his eyes.

"Where's Dean, Seth and Paige?" Roman demanded, as Reed came and sat on the side of his bed.

"Roman, I'm so sorry." Reed said gently, looking like he was struggling to find the right words to say to him.

 "Why?"

"They...they didn't make it." Reed answered, his voice breaking.

"No! You're...you're lying!" Roman said, as his tears fell.

"I wish I was, I'm so sorry Roman."

Roman's heart physically hurt, he began sobbing, as he thought of never being able to hold any of them again. Reed touched Roman's arm, but he pulled away at first, not wanting anyone near him as he sobbed, but finally after a few seconds he allowed Reed to pull him into his arms and hold him as he cried, he held onto Reed tightly. Awhile later Roman had calmed down, he needed to know what happened to the Wyatts, needing to know that his loved ones didn't die in vain, he pulled away and spoke.

 "Ben?"

 "Yeah?"

"What happened to the Wyatts?" Roman asked.

"Well, that's the only good thing to come out of this." Reed began, as he sighed. "All four members of the Wyatts are dead, I identified their bodies myself at the morgue, when I..." Reed said, but trailed off.

"Did...did they suffer?" Roman asked quietly. "Dean, Paige and Seth, I mean."

"No, they all...no." Reed answered, as Roman nodded his head. "Roman, they're heroes in my mind...you all are. You four took down two Crime Families, sacrificing your lives to do it, which is why I recommended you and Seth for medals and my co-heads of the bureau both agreed to it, as well as my request to have Dean, Paige and Seth's funeral together; giving them the hero send off they deserve." Reed explained gently, as he put a hand on Roman's shoulder.
