You make me Happy

Coming home

*Carla P.O.V*

I felt a sudden unexpected yawn escaped out of my mouth.

"Don't worry Carla we'll be back to magnolia in an hour," Wendy said tiredly. 

"Don't be worried about me child. I'll just take a nap on the train," I reassured her. 

*Flashback* Carla narrative. 

Wendy and I had taken a job today. it was a simple job, we just had to clean a library full of wizardry books. The library was gigantic. It had ten levels full of dusty old books. It took Wendy and I all day to finish the job. At the end of the day, we were extremely fatigued. 

*flashback end*  

" Carla......Carla!!" Wendy called while shaking me out of my slumber. "we're home," Wendy said, smiling. "Come on Carla. Let's hurry up and get to the guild. We don't want people worrying about us," she said while we hopped off the train. She had slight dark circles under her big brown eyes, I could tell she was tired.

"Look wendy, why don't you head home? i'll walk to the guild and tell everyone we got home safely," I told her with a smile. 

"Ok if you're sure Carla," Wendy said. she patted me on the head, then started to skip home. At the same time i made my way to the guild.

When I opened the guilds massive doors i was greeted by a snowball to the face. I wiped the snow of my fur and shot glares at Gray, who just continued to punch Natsu in the heat of a fight. 

"Hi Carla! Sorry about the boys. Would you like some warm milk and a towel for your fur?" Mira said. I nodded in response. She handed me the most needed towel and I Followed her to the bar, for the glass of milk. 

"So what are your thoughts on happy?" Mira inquired while handing me my glass

" what about him?" I asked plainly. 

"You know........romantically," she said causing me to choke on my milk and spew it all over Mira's dress.

"Oh my im so sorry!" I quickly apologized for all of the milk now soaking her pink dress. 

"That's ok Carla! I shouldn't try to pry!" Mira atoned.

I sighed as I watch mira scurry of to the back to try to clean the mess on her dress. What did i think of happy? He was nice and always offered me fish witched I declined. He was really funny, charming kinda cute..wait did i say cute? well i guess he was rather attractive but i would never tell anyone that.

"So Carla, I take it you finished the job," Mira asked me once she returned after changing into a dark purple dress.

"Yes that is correct," I said nodding slightly. 

"Here do you want a refill?" Mira asked "Oh and don't say too long, I don't want to have to carry you home," Mira asked jokingly. 

As I siped on my milk my thoughts drifted back to Happy. I wonder what he's doing. I swear why do i always think about that Tom cat? 

"Hey Carla?" Mira asked 

"sorry what did you say?" I asked dazed

"You should head home, It's getting late." Mira said smiling

"Oh sorry Mira!" I apologized then jumped of the stool i was sitting on. 

"Oh Carla, don't forget tomorrow's Valentine's day  you should tell that special  someone how you feel!" she called winking at me, emphasizing the word special. 'what's that supposed to mean?' I thought to myself while hopping out of the guild. 'Could she be talking about Happy?'
