Summer's Ending

It was the end of summer and that meant the start of school. I was woken up by my mother calling me. My ears twitched from how loud it was.

"Son! Get up! You're going to be late!" She said. I then shook the sleepiness out of my eyes and immediately got out of bed. I went to the drawer and picked out a pair of black jeans, white and black sneakers and a red shirt. I looked at myself in the mirror.

I had two fluffy white ears at the sides of my head and a bit of peach fur on my chest. I also had a grey tail flowing back and forth. I sighed and went to the bathroom.

I came out fresh and ready to go to school. I ran downstairs, ate breakfast, placed on my sneakers and started to walk with my sister, Emily.

While we were walking, we met up with my friend Oscar and Emily's friend, Sahara. They were related too, but as cousins. They were both Meif'was (cat people).

"Hey Leo! Hey Emily!" They said. Honestly, if someone were to meet them for the first time, they'd think that their twins or something!

"Hey guys." We replied back.

"Wanna walk to school with us?" Oscar said. I nodded and we were off.

"Leo, make sure the thing that happened last Valentine's day doesn't happen again. Just because Amy used you to get to Jason doesn't mean that you should go all berserk and almost kill someone." Sahara said. I laughed sheepishly. I still remember that day.

It was Valentine's day night and we were all invited to go to a ball with our dates. I decided to ask my long time crush, Amy Halt. A pure human. She had beautiful long amber hair and honey eyes. I asked her two days before the ball. She said yes and I was so happy.

The night of the ball, the first ball I've ever wanted to go to, was the last one as well. When we got inside, Amy said hat she had to use the bathroom and ran off. I decided to get a table for the both of us. After like five minutes, I started time get worried and I went to check up on her. When I reached to the bathroom, I saw her and Jason Gauntlet kissing. I was so angry and heartbroken that I went into my wolf form angry. I slashed him over and over until I felt that I was satisfied.

Amy then called the nurse and I was kicked out of the ball.
