Kaito Shion was a famous Vocaloid singer. Vocaloids are humanoids who are able to sing any song possible just from memory, and Kaito, was the most human a humanoid can get. Unlike most Vocaloids Kaito was able fall in love with real humans. Coincidentally, he fell in love with you, and you loved him in the same, but neither of you were able to tell each other yet. At the moment you and Kaito were just really close best friends. You were one of the only people Kaito was actually friends with, excluding the other Vocaloids.

You and Kaito have been friends since before he became a music star. Your uncle was the creator of Vocal-Humanoids, and showed you over a Skype video once when you used to live in the United States. Your uncle asked you to move to Japan to help him develop these Humanoids - you had a college degree in robotics and engineering at the age of 15 - It was then when you accidentally said "Vocaloid" and thus the name of these things were born. The first one your uncle made was named Hatsune Miku. She was a hit amongst the public everywhere. You and your uncle, together, along with KEI developed more and more Vocaloids. Even with your degree, you didn't know as much about Vocaloids as KEI and your uncle did,so you were left out of certain things. Eventually your uncle came up with the concept of Kaito. You loved the idea of another male Vocaloid to sing alongside Miku, since the twins, Rin and Len had each other. Your uncle made sample sounds of Kaito's voice, and looks and brought them to KEI for their opinion, but they for some reason completely hated the idea. Your uncle, angry with KEI made Kaito in secret from everyone. Without your knowing, your uncle created Kaito, and shaped him into a perfect male Vocaloid. He brought Kaito to KEI once and was famous in no time, once they went through with idea. Your uncle told you about Kaito soon after. You were a little angry, until your uncle brought Kaito home for you to meet. You two instantly clicked, and you soon started to fall in love with the humanoid, the longer you knew him, odd enough as it sounded. Eventually KEI bought rights to Kaito, the same as they did with Miku, Rin, Len, Gakupo, Vy2, Meiko, Oliver, Gumi, and all the others you and your uncle have made, but Kaito refused to let you be pushed out of the picture, so occasionally he would hang out with you.

Today Kaito brought you with him to the recording studio. You loved it whenever he would invite you to the recording studio with him. You loved his voice, you loved his looks, you loved everything about Kaito, but you weren't sure if he felt the same. Kaito was recording for his new album titled: Sing. He was convinced this album was going to be filled with his most powerful music yet, and so far he was right. Every song he recorded in that small room, hit you, your mind, and your emotions like a bus. Every single word that came from Kaito's mouth was like a beautiful complete song. It was unbelievable.

You watched outside the recording box, as Kaito sang. As he sang his current song, an up beat dance song, he danced slightly in place. You thought it was cute. You thought everything he did was cute, but these little details is what you liked hunting for when watching him. Kaito would glance at you from time to time, sending you a small smile, smirk, or wave. Usually they earned him a scoff from his manager, who seemed to dislike you for some reason, but neither you, nor Kaito, seemed to care.

"Alright, Kaito, nice work. Take a break, we'll continue later." His manager said through the recording rooms intercom, after he finished the song he was singing. He nodded and took his headset off and started to tidy up the mess he made with all the song papers he had in there with him. His manager soon left after taking the recording disk out of the player, and took it with her.

You stood outside the recording booth holding his water bottle, waiting for him. Kaito came out of the room holding a folder of music sheets in one hand as he took the water bottle from you with the other. He popped the lid off and took a long drink as he threw the folder onto one of the tables. He eventually took the bottle from his mouth -the bottle now empty- and breathed deeply, "Thanks, _________, you're a life saver..."
